5.00Amazing food tour with our great guide, Karen. She took us to places where the customers were mostly local , down streets we had not explored and to restaurants we would likely not have tried. Each restaurant specialized in a different type of food and Karen did a great job of explaining the history and preparation of each dish. Bring a big appetite

5.00If you want to discover a number of small local restaurants and get to see the town as you travel to each one on a bike, then this is your tour. Especially when your tour guide is a "Foodie" and can explain the very tasty dishes and flavors in each one. We have been to many towns in Mexico, and can say that we are very impressed with the food and restaurants in Loreto. Especially the small ones that you probably would not find on your own. We enjoyed this low-key, easy going tour.

5.00We visited the town of Loreto for the first time. After wandering around the area including the mission we met with our food tour guide Karen. She let us know the distance of our walk, which we were prepared for. Karen was very knowledgeable about the communities as well as the menus and history of the foods we were able to sample. We began the tour on an empty stomach and managed to pace ourselves through the 2 1/2 hours of walking through the tour, learning along with some really tasty foods. Pesole, gorditas, carnitas and fish tacos and a refreshing hibiscus drink. Thank You for an informative and tasty tour.

5.00Our guide Karen was a pleasure to be with. She was very informative about the food we were tasting along with other interesting information. Everything we tried was delicious. We discovered small restaurants we would not have tried otherwise, and will go back to. We found biking was a good way to get to and from each location, especially on a hot day. It was a great introduction to Loreto!

5.00Fantastic tour . . . have been on several of these in other cities and the biking aspect was unique and fun . . . 5 different tacos sampled and all were unique and fantastic. Dominica was both personable and fun . . . absolutely recommend this!

3.00I went on a food and bike tour in Loreto, Mexico, where I visited local taco shops. Overall, it was a good experience. Biking through the town and tasting the local food was enjoyable. The tour began with our friendly guide, Adele, who taught us about the region's food history. We stopped at several small shops, each offering unique flavors. The food was delicious, and it felt great to support local businesses. However, Adele was poorly prepared for the tour. She arrived late, which required us to call and confirm the timing. Additionally, the bikes were not ready. Several had low tires, and she had no tools to adjust the seat for one of our guests, leaving him with a poorly fitting bike for the entire tour. We stopped at a local tire shop to pump up the tires, but they could not assist us. Eventually, Adele pulled out a bike pump, and we adjusted the low tires on the street. This should have been handled before our arrival, ensuring the bikes were clean, tuned, and ready to go. This situation created unnecessary stress that could have been avoided. Overall, the tour was a great way to explore the local food scene in Loreto and enjoy authentic tacos. With a few improvements, it could be an even better experience, including fewer poor jokes from the host.

5.00The tour was wonderful. The food was better than what we had at the resort. The tour guide had lots of good information about the food, the locale and the history. This little tour was the highlight of our trip!

5.00Adele was our guide and she was just fabulous. She took us to several taco places and they were all delicious. All of the people were so kind and we would not hesitate to do this tour again.
