Visit Champagne in the Heart of the Vineyard in Van Mercedes (all comforts) to discover 3 Champagne Producers / Winemakers. Visits to Cellars, 10 tastings and the Restaurant (2 courses) as well as taking pictures in the vineyards are at the rendezvous to give you a sparkling experience.
Itinerary:
- Visit of a first winemaker: Explanation of the manufacturing process, visit of cellar followed by a tasting of 3 Champagnes.
Visit Hautvillers, village where Dom Perignon created Champagne.
Stop in the vineyards.
- Lunch at Restaurant sur Épernay (dish, dessert): Champagne glass + coffee + water)
- Visit of a second winemaker: Small visit of cellar followed by a tasting of 3 Champagnes.
- Visit of a third “Grand Cru” winemaker: Tasting of 3 Champagnes
Visit in English only.
Minimum 2 people to start the tour.

5.00We had a fantastic day with Xavier our host visiting three small champagne houses. Pick up was timely, the tour vehicle was very comfortable. Xavier was very knowledgeable about champagne and the region and made the day entertaining, showed us all the processes of making champagne from how the grapes are grown, through to bottling. We had a small and friendly group of six, and you realise the smaller champagne houses make some great champagnes too. In fact, our group agreed that the champagne from some of the smaller houses were better than some of the well known brands (we tasted on different tours). Lunch was also great!
Great food and Champagne day tour-can’t be beat.

5.00I loved being able to support local small growers and producers of great Champagne. The tour was a small group interested in not just tasting, but the history and how Champagne is produced. We had a relaxing time visiting the areas and the varieties of tastings provided valuable compare and contrast information. And the treat was the wonderful lunch at Le Theatre at Place Pierre Mendes France in Epernay. What a nice addition to the tour.

5.00Top notch tour with an excellent guide. Anna was amazing. I felt like we were getting VIP treatment as we gained access to the inner workings and cellars of three producers. Very private tastings and a small group of four. The entire day was perfection. The insight into the history of the region, the champagne, and the process was captivating. The included lunch was incredible and more than what I anticipated. Don’t hesitate to book this tour. Amazing!

5.00We had a great day. Cristophe was a fantastic guide, with great knowledge on the area and champagne. We visited 3 family producers, all different but really enjoyable. We also had a great lunch in Epernay, it was a fantastic day and I would definitely recommend.

5.00We had an amazing tour of the Champagne region! Alex was such a great tour guide!! He was extremely knowledgeable and fun! We stopped at 3 small champagne houses and all 3 were wonderful. We will definitely recommend this tour to friends and family!

We visited 3 champagne houses and had a fabulous lunch in the middle of the day. It was seriously the best day ever!! Thank you!!!
