Thingvellir National Park
We’ll take you first to Thingvellir National Park, where you will see the astonishing spectacle of continental plates tearing apart. Here you can stand with one foot in America and the other in Europe, on either side of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Thingvellir is a place of great historical and cultural significance for Icelanders. It’s where its first parliament met for a thousand years, as chieftains would gather to make laws, dispense justice and settle disputes. Some were even executed in the “drowning pool”!
Geysir
The next stop on your Golden Circle tour is Geysir, the highlight of the Haukadalur geothermal area. Bubbling with “hot spring” activity, this is the place that gave geysers all over the world their name. The “Great Geysir” has fallen silent now, but another spouting spring called Strokkur is just a few meters away. Strokkur is an “old faithful”, erupting every few minutes, sending fountains of superheated water high into the air. You’ll smell the sulfur in the air, and you’ll sense the phenomenal power of nature boiling under the surface of the Earth!

5.00Great drivers & guides, especially Nikola, but be ready for change of plans if you are visiting in Winter. Nothing is guaranteed as weather can works against you, but the company is nice to offer refunds for portions of the tour that cannot be completed. Give a day break between tours if you are taking more than one and do NOT schedule anything on your last day. Better stay in city and close to the airport vs getting stuck somewhere out and about due to weather. I would use this tour company again if I plan to visit again.

5.00Great experience in pretty adverse conditions. A slight delay of 3 hours stuck the other side of the mountains but our guide (Nichola) could not have helped more including a trip for eggs and bread then not the food hall.

5.00It was a wonderful trip. The tour guide was very good at livening up the atmosphere. The atmosphere during the normal tour was extremely pleasant, making everyone have a great time. The tour guide was also an excellent driver, driving very smoothly.

4.00Really nice trip. Lots to see and definitely worth doing! The sky lagoon was fantastic and I wish we could have had longer there. Whilst the driver was lovely and very knowledgeable, his driving was rather scary at times! There were snow ploughs out on the dual carriageway and cars had come off the road, but our driver was doing overtakes!!! He really should slow down when he is responsible for so many passengers. For me, that’s the only things I have to grumble about.
Best experience in Iceland.

5.00Our Golden Circle tour was unforgettable! Every stop was so unique and magical. We were very lucky to have Christina as our tour guide, one of the best I’ve ever met in my many years traveling around the word. She was high energy and enthusiasm, very knowledgeable about all places we visited and she sprinkled humor from beginning to the end of the day. On top of all of that she is an excellent driver too. I highly recommend touring with Christina

5.00Loved loved loved this tour! Christina was a fabulous guide. She was engaging, super smart and funny, and the sights we stopped at were incredible. It was my birthday and she gave me a cupcake with a candle and sang happy birthday in Icelandic! I thoroughly enjoyed the day and cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

5.00Having spent ages looking through all the different tour options fo the golden circle we finally decided to book this one and so glad that we did. Everything was perfectly timed, the bus was very safe and comfortable in some pretty crazy conditions. All the stops we done were very interesting and all very different. The whole day was made even better by our guide Christina who really looked after us. Really informative about the local area and all what we saw. Very clear with instructions and the crampons were a great help in some treacherous conditions We thank you and would thoroughly recommend to anyone scrolling through all the different tour options for the golden circle. BOOK THIS ONE 😊
