Our guide will come to your hotel in the Old Quarter to pick you up. A short briefing before we start.
Old Quarter
On a 3 hours walking tour, you’ll explore the culture and history of Hanoi as you step into a world full of street food vendors. Unlike big cities all around the world, street food in Hanoi are not just hot dog carts and pretzel stands, we offer an opportunity to try out many different dishes at local food stand as well as local family restaurants. A rotating menu from day-to-day to represent the variety of delicious options, but tastings might include, but are subject to change: rice noodle soup with beef, rice noodle with chicken, rice noodle with grilled pork, snail, or dry noodle, sticky rice, along with various kinds of donut, steamed pancake or Vietnamese sandwiches.

5.00This food tour was incredible. Our guide Minh was wonderfully charismatic, thoughtful, and a true foodie, bringing us to his favorite places around Old Quarter Hanoi. We experienced dishes and family-run street food that we never would have known about or found on our own. He talked to us about living in Hanoi and all we could know about food and eating culture in the city. Taking this tour is an absolute must!

5.00This food tour was the highlight of our trip in Hanoi! Lucky was our guide and did a great job. He was fun and personable and so knowledgeable! Lucky shared great background on the cuisine, info on the regional food variations across the country, and shared so much about Vietnamese culture in general. The stops on the tour were delicious and truly local spots we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. The small group was fun and Lucky did a great job of keeping us on track but also not rushing us. One of us was vegan and he did a great job making sure vegan options were available at every spot as well. Come hungry as you will be pleasantly stuffed by the end. Great tour, highly recommend!

5.00We had a lovely time with Rik our guide eating around Hanoi. He made the pickup very easy, and took care to explain everything we ate at every stop. He made the trip very enjoyable and facilitated lots of interesting group conversation. He sent us a list of everywhere we visited, including some great suggestions too. Highly recommend doing this food tour with Rik when visiting Hanoi.

5.00Luke our guide was excellent! He ensured we had a huge variety of food. It is very important you come with an empty stomach. He was also very friendly and had a great sense of humour. He kept the conversation flowing through the entire group. This is an absolute must do activity when coming to Hanoi.
