5.00We did the Road to Hana Cave Quest and it was amazing. Definitely worth leaving the driving to an experienced person so you can take in the views and enjoy all the amazing plants waterfalls. Gayle was our tour guide and she was knowledgeable and fun and made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy all the locations and views. Well worth the trip.

5.00The absolute highlight of our Road to Hana tour was our tour guide, Gayle. Maui and all of its history is her passion. She was incredibly knowledgeable and also kind. For us, she MADE the tour!!

5.00The journey was beautiful! The lava tube cave was fascinating! Sue, our guide, made our whole experience even better with her extensive knowledge of the flora, geography, and the Hawaiian history and lore of the area. We enjoyed the drive immensely in the comfort of a luxury van which afforded us beautiful views along the way. We were provided a refreshing continental breakfast and got to observe sea turtles resting on the beach and visited a lovely black sand beach. (Bring water shoes!) We stopped for drinks and Hawaii 's famous banana bread at Coconut Glen's to purchase a midmorning snack along the way. Around noon we had a delicious lunch catered by Temptation Tours. On the way back we swam under a beautiful waterfall! The whole experience was breathtakingly beautiful. I highly recommend Temptation Tours, especially with Sue as a guide!

5.00We had Ray as our driver, also known as Ray-again. There were 7 of us in the van so we each had a window seat. Van was pretty comfortable. Roads were just like you see and read in the description. Black sand beach was cool. The waterfalls were nice. Lunch was tasty. The stories Ray told about history and what he has learned living here for 10 years really sealed the deal. The history, food stuff and the ugly stuff. The local traditions, and just what it means to live there as an outsider. You really learn to appreciate and respect the Hawaiian people and their culture a lot more. I liked paying the extra for smaller tour instead of a tour minibus, was much more enjoyful and engaging. So many small things go in it was hard to keep track. I recommend sitting in the front seat if you take a lot of photographs. I was able to put the window down and snap more pictures than I would have in the back. Thanks for a good time Ray, and thanks for the first aid kit when my daughter tore her knee up.

5.00Enjoy Road to Hana vs. stress it! Guide Ray was fast, fun, efficient, knowledgeable, great. Caves, waterfalls, beach! Learned & saw so much. Why would you stress the drive yourself??!!??

5.00So worth it!!! We had originally planned to drive the road ourselves, but then a couple days before we were like “that sounds stressful, let’s just book at tour”. Our concern, though, was the stress and discomfort of being on a 18 passenger transport van with a bunch of random people for 10 hours. And we really wanted to see the lava tube cave, and most other tours didn’t offer that. This tour was perfect!!! It was an eight passenger luxury van, so it was us, two other couples and the guide. Everyone had their own padded captains chair. It was very comfortable! And our tour guide Scott was the best! Not only super knowledgeable and fun, but he knew all the good picture spots and was a master with Apple and Android phones and took some really great photos of us. Using techniques we don’t normally use on our phones. He really took great care of us. He even squeegeed the windows at one stop after it had rained a little so we could see out of the windows better. Couldn’t have booked a better Road to Hana tour or a better guide. Got to see everything we wanted (cave, black sands beach, turtles, waterfalls, roadside stands, etc), but did it comfort with just two other great couples. Highly recommend!!! And ask for Scott, he was the best.
