The Melaka After-Dark Food Tour is designed to showcase the city’s vibrant nightlife and culinary culture through the eyes of a local. Led by a passionate foodie-storyteller, you’ll wander beyond the main tourist trail to discover authentic tastes and hidden gems that reflect Melaka’s multicultural spirit.
During this 3.5-hour evening walk, you’ll enjoy four curated food stops featuring local favourite that showcases Melaka’s diverse culinary heritage. Stroll along the Melaka River Walk, soak in the village charm of Kampung Morten, and explore the lively Bunga Raya area known for its street eats and old-world character.

He was also very careful when ordering after we had informed him of a food allergy. Many thanks John

5.00What a fantastic night. The guide Jacqueline was so friendly and informative... Not only going to great local restaurants and sampling unique food, but getting the history and the background of the city and the Malaysian culture. Top tips... Don't eat beforehand, and double check you idea of spicy food... Jacqueline was able to order mine with reduced spice.. Still explodes with flavour and left my lips and mouth tingling with the heat of the spice.

5.00We do a lot of Airbnb Experiences when we travel and this was one of our favorites. John was knowledgeable, the food was plentiful, and the walk through the routes of history, insightful. We would definitely do this again — 100%.

4.00There was a great variety of tasty foods but the explanations were were quite limited . I typically had to ask each question three times before getting a clear answer. While he was intelligible for the most part, he spoke English with Chinese pronunciation which was a bit taxing after a while. Despite the issues, it's still worth doing.

5.00A variety of delicious food of varying styles. Visited places in the city we would not think to go. John is a wealth of knowledge on the history of Melaka, the architecture and the food. Highly recommended.

5.00Our host Jaqueline was excellent and the curated food selections from Ivy were sensational. First time to Melaka and this was the best way to learn about the places the locals go to for the best food, off the tourist trail. Great value - Monster take care of everything, just rock up and enjoy. More than just a food tour, learning about the history & culture along the way & other must-do things to see afterwards. So grateful. Highly recommend Monster for a great experience.

5.00Our talkative, experienced guide Olivia, was great. She took us to four local spots to try foods from different cultures. She pointed out historical facts about places about places along the way. We enjoyed her stories.
