Singapore is a melting pot of flavours and on this food-focused walking tour, you can sample a variety of delicious dishes from the multi-cultural community of Singapore (Chinese, Malay, Indian and Peranakan) and explore the ethnically diverse neighbourhoods of Chinatown.
Follow your tour guide through the streets and learn about the history, culture, and heritage of Singapore and discover where the locals like to eat. Get in-depth insights into each dish that you sample (from Michelin guide hawkers and popular food stalls) and hear stories about the local communities. On this 3-hour guided tour, you'll explore the Telok Ayer and Chinatown neighbourhoods and sample local favourites served by humble hawker vendors, heritage brands and household names each backed with an amazing culinary story. Our guides will even take you to sample the world-famous Michelin star hawker - Soya Sauce Chicken Rice. without having to survive a queue! The entire tour will take about 3 hours, depending on group size, walking speed and weather conditions, covering approximately 3km.

5.00Our tour guide, Heng, provided a very informative and engaging tour of the several hawker vendors in Chinatown with a thorough explanation of the dishes that we sampled. The tour was conducted at a very easy pace and we were not at all rushed. He also provided commentary on various other points of interest such as temples, and also provided some history and cultural aspects of Singapore. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and highly recommended.

The food quality was exceptional, offering a sophisticated taste of the local gastronomic scene that lived up to the Michelin standard. Each stop felt curated and high-end, providing a perfect balance of flavor and presentation. What truly elevated the evening, however, was our guide, Jon. He was incredibly knowledgeable and provided fantastic context for every dish and location we visited. His expertise turned a great meal into a deep dive into the city's food culture.

5.00Big Jon was a fount of knowledge about the food, the culture and the region! The food we tasted was deliciously unique, sourced from the best stalls and eaten in the markets. Walking around was great - the humidity mixed with aircon moments.
