A 3.5-hour food tour indulging in the best of Michelin Guide Singapore food & other popular hawker food stalls right in the heart of Chinatown.

Singapore is a melting pot of flavours and on this food-focused walking tour, you can sample a variety of delicious dishes from the multi-cultural community of Singapore (Chinese, Malay, Indian and Peranakan) and explore the ethnically diverse neighbourhoods of Chinatown.

Follow your tour guide through the streets and learn about the history, culture, and heritage of Singapore and discover where the locals like to eat. Get in-depth insights into each dish that you sample (from Michelin guide hawkers and popular food stalls) and hear stories about the local communities. Yes, we are world-famous for our food – Asian, Western, traditional, contemporary fusion and more. In fact, our distinctive hawker culture is a microcosm reflecting Singapore’s multicultural society. We also proudly take claim for the World’s Cheapest Michelin 1-Star Restaurant! Aimed to satiate discerning taste buds, this tour is a definite must for all foodies! On this 3-hour guided tour, you'll explore the Telok Ayer and Chinatown neighbourhoods and sample local favourites served by humble hawker vendors, heritage brands and household names each backed with an amazing culinary story. Our guides will even take you to sample the world-famous Michelin star hawker - Soya Sauce Chicken Rice. without having to survive a queue! The entire tour will take about 3 hours, depending on group size, walking speed and weather conditions, covering approximately 3km.

You will not only get to try fabulous food from different Hawker centers, but also a history of food in Singapore. That is what we got from Swee Lin, who was a fabulous tour guide. I highly recommend this tour regardless of the guide, you’ll get to try many different dishes from this multi-cultural country.

This was our first time trip to Singapore and an excellent way to start off the “Hawker”experience. Joyce, our guide, did an amazing job with the selection of Michelin Hawkers and the dishes they create. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. Joyce also went into the history of the food centers and made some recommendations for activities in Singapore which did not disappoint.
