You can't visit Italy without trying at least one pasta dish... So, we'll teach you two!

Learn how to roll 'sfoglia' (fresh pasta) by hand and how to prepare 2 simple different kinds of pasta from scratch with your Cesarina.

As the icing on the cake you will learn to prepare also the iconic Tiramisu.

Share your passion for the Italian cuisine as you make new friends in this hands-on cooking class. It's a great way to truly experience Italian culture.

Please note that our Cesarine are ready and thrilled to host you in their homes! All Cesarine are always very careful and attentive of the important sanitary rules needed, even more now! The homes provide all the essential sanitary equipment for the guests (paper towels for washing hands, hand sanitizing gel and so on). Remember to always maintain 1 meter distance from each other and if not, wear masks and gloves

What To Expect

Learn to make the famous Pasta and tiramisù in local homes with this hands-on cooking class. Discover, cook and experience the most iconic Italian dishes with expert home cooks in their own homes. This is a shared cooking class held in a carefully selected local home in Genoa. Our Cesarine (the name of our hosts) will welcome you like part of the family and will teach you their family cooking secrets for an authentic culinary experience.

Emanuela is an incredible host - caring, engaging, funny, and an excellent cook! We had a class for a group of high school students from Poland, and they enjoyed it so much that we overstayed the time by an hour, chatting, eating lunch, and enjoying Manu's hospitality. Her home is also a gem - the terrace with a panoramic view of the Ligurian coast made our experience ever more unforgettable!

Absolutely fabulous time with Andrea learning all about Ligurian culture and cuisine. We learned how to make pasta and tiramisu and had a fabulous meal together. Definitely a highlight of our trip! We would recommend it to anyone.

Great fun and a delicious meal at the end of the experience. We initially went to the wrong meeting point so check your messages as you will be redirected to he correct address once booked. We arrived at the address and initially thought it was very intimate as the experience was at the hosts home. This was soon squashed as we got into the experience. We were explained the recipe and then given the opportunity to get stuck in. We shared the experience with another couple who took in turns with us to add the ingredients, mix them and pretty much do everything else to create two wonderfully pasta dishes and a desert. We then sat down and we're served our creations. And wow, they were very tasty and washed down with wine. A great experience and highly recommended, get out of your comfort zone and do it. You won't be disappointed.

WOW! What a wonderful experience. Tiziana and Roberto were fabulous hosts who made my mother feel extra special whilst celebrating her birthday. The experience was well organised and ran very smoothly, enabling us time to cook three separate dishes! This was an unforgettable day and we would highly recommend to any other travellers who are stopping in the Genova region. We travelled from Rapallo and it was an easy journey and well worth the trip. Grazie mille Tiziana e Roberto!

This was the most amazing experience we had whilst staying in Genoa - learning how to cook pasta and tiramisu. Thank you SO much to Tomaso and Gabriel for a memorable morning in such a beautiful home! We had a fantastic time and are still talking about it!
