Be treated to a visit at Moonlit Sanctuary Conservation Park where you will have the opportunity to interact with an array of Australian native animals such as koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, dingoes, an array of colorful birds & reptiles. Visit the Nobbies - home to the largest colony of fur seals in Australia. Then it is on to the gala event! Delight in the magic of visiting the world-famous Phillip Island Penguin Parade where you will have the privilege of witnessing a true miracle - our beautiful little penguins arriving ashore to one of the largest penguin colonies in Australia. After a long swim at sea, they will be dressed up in what looks like a tuxedo - marvel at these stunning flightless birds as they waddle right past you on the way to their home. Depending on the time of year, you can tailor your tour and include free time exploring Phillip Island at your own pace.

Tour not normally suitable for cruise ship passengers. Tour starts between 1 and 2 pm depending on time of year from city centre and finishes between 8:30 PM and 11:45 PM. It is your responsibility to check you can make it on time to avoid missing out on tour and cancellation fees.

5.00Josh was a brilliant guide. He took us to the quieter spots with the best views and wildlife. He was excellent at keeping us informed with endless facts. It was a very memorable and enjoyable day. Hugely worthwhile.

5.00What a great day! Josh gave us a nice guided tour with the climax of the penguin parade. He was able to captivate us with many little facts but also with interesting stories about the many wild animals we have seen. He also knew how to give regular advice on certain things we definitely had to do (restaurant tips, walking tips, tips to have a good place at the penguin parade). Definitely worth the money! Those in Melbourne should definitely consider booking this tour to Philip Island.

4.00Our guide, Travis was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. He gets 10 out of 5 stars for providing info and knowledge on the wildlife and their habitat. He frequently went out of his way to share special and rare sightings that made the tour even more special. His knowledge of the Penguin Parade was outstanding, as it made our experience the very best it could be. He truly cares for the wildlife. During our tour, he stopped to rescue an injured echidna from the middle of the road. We would have given the tour 5 stars but we downgraded it to 4 because of the van seating. We were seated in the very last row in the van. 1 seat was over the wheel well and the 2 seats literally felt and BOUNCED to every road bump- it was very difficult to use your cell phone when the van was in motion. I would highly recommend that the tour don’t even sell those seats in the future. After sitting in those seats for the whole tour, it took a toll on our bodies.

5.00One of the highlights of our trip to Melbourne! Our tour guide Travis was so knowledgeable and gave us detailed commentary throughout the day, even going so far as to stop to rescue an Echidna from the road! The penguin parade was simply amazing, a wonder of nature and a real once in a lifetime experience! Highly recommend this tour, A MUST DO if you are visiting Melbourne!!
Penguins are worth making the long trip

4.00The driver was very friendly and shared a lot of information. It rained a lot on the way. The Moonlite sanctuary park was disappointing. The penguins made up for a lot. On the way there we drove a sort of Safari on Philip Island and saw a lot of geese, wallabies and birds of prey. Luckily it stayed dry and because we had booked the PLUS we sat first rank (highly recommended) when entering Penguins. The only downside there was that there were a lot of disobedient people taking pictures.

5.00Josh at Oceania is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and accommodating. We spent most of the day into the evening meeting and getting up close with all sorts of Australian wildlife including adorable kangaroos and wallabies and emus and finally “little” (aka “fairy”) penguins. We stopped at the eclectic beach town of Cowes for dinner and gelato where a very greedy seagull lunged at me, aiming to steal my cone! In whole a wonderful experience.

5.00Josh was awesome, he showed us a penguin in a burrow and many more Wombats, he was friendly and easy going and knows what he is doing. the penguins parade was amazing, never seen anything like it. Melted my heart to see them returning back to their burrows to their families. A must see for sure

5.00The island was beautiful. The sanctuary had a lot of neat animals to see. I loved the koalas and marsupials. Also Josh my tour guide locked up Andrew Bogut.
