Stare Mesto (Old Town)
This is all about the little streets, passageways, alleyways and courtyards where big groups can't go. On their own they are not considered attractions but you need to understand why they are here before you can understand why the Old Town and Jewish Quarter looks like it does. Although not considered attractions you'll also be introduced to the Stolpersteine (Stumble Stones) project, learn some Czech, interpret building identifiers, recognise building design styles, get tips on local food/drink and a raft of other local tips from more than 20 years living here. Specific attractions are below.
Jewish Museum in Prague
This includes overviews of the Pinkas Synagogue, Old Jewish Cemetery, Ceremonial Hall, Klausen Synagogue, Old/New Synagogue and the Spanish Synagogue. Concise history, modern day function, what to look for plus tips on how to skip the lines.

5.00Our tour guide was lovely, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. We enjoyed learning about beautiful Prague and he shared great insights about the rich culture and historical relevance of Prague and its political systems. I would recommend this tour to everyone who is interested in learning about the Jewish quarter and Old Town.

5.00Jason is very well informed. He was quite willing to answer all questions. The tour took about 2 1/2 hours and for those who care, it was all flat but also all cobblestones. Close to 2 miles of walking. The rich history of this area is very educational.

5.00Jason is a great guide! Full of stories, history and humor. He's engaging and his way of explaining things is both interesting and digestible. My son missed the tour and I told him he missed a great one. I was also able to share what I had learned which I feel is not always possible after a tour -- a lot goes in one ear and out the other. Thank you Jason! Hope to see you again to learn more about the beautiful and fascinating history of Prague.

5.00Jason was great, very knowledgable and personable and the tour was very informative. The small group was what attracted me to this tour and it was definately the right decision, 6 people only made it feel personal and easy to hear and ask questions. Highly recommended.

5.00We booked a private tour with Jason in December, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. He was kind, informative, and extremely professional throughout the entire tour. Jason shared so much knowledge and made everything engaging and easy to understand. He even went out of his way to help with a random request I had by directing us to a legitimate and trustworthy place to exchange money, which we really appreciated. That extra effort truly made a difference. You will not be disappointed.

5.00The best tour we had the whole trip was with Jason through Livingprague.com. He was a wealth of knowledge and information about the past, present and just wonderful to talk with. My husband and I did a private tour with a mix of the Jewish Quarter and City tour combined. I highly recommend! We will use him again the next time we come!

5.00I highly recommend this tour by Jason. From the easy meeting point to the conclusion of the tour, Jason provided relevant and entertaining information which made the area and its history come to life. He is a wonderful storyteller, and finds a way to weave meaningful tales into the various points of interest. I have found that pacing is a critical ingredient in a good tour. Jason has mastered the art of pacing. Most of us on the tour took his advice for a lunch venue and enjoyed it.

5.00Our guide Jans was an English man so it was very easy to understand him. Jans was very friendly and had an excellent knowledge of the history of Prague.
