  I did the Ultimate tour with “Surfing Sue” as the tour guide. It was a great experience and the best road to Hana tour I’ve done. Sue chatted most of the way about local geology, culture, history and language. I definitely learned a lot. She went over and beyond to make the experience comfortable and memorable for her guests. The trip came with two sit down meals at local restaurants. The food was good at both places. Among the stops were Wainapanapa (black sand beach) and a waterfall. She gave the guests options to stop at various places, some we did and some we didn’t. It’s a small tour which felt comfortable and personal.

  Randy was our guide on the Road to Hāna tour last week and I cannot say enough great things about him and this trip! He was courteous, knowledgeable, entertaining and incredibly accommodating. The luxury van was comfortable and Randy made sure we had everything we needed from snacks and drinks and even ginger candies for those of us who got a little green around the gills on the curvy roads. He ensured everyone got a chance to see and experience the highlights along the Road, including sea turtles!!, and even went out of his way to stop by the Maui Fire Department after we saw a sign saying they were selling tshirts! Thanks again Randy for an unforgettable Maui adventure!

  Our road to Hana tour was fantastic. Randy was a wonderful guide. He was knowledgeable and made our day a complete delight. Very enjoyable tour.

  Excellent day excursion to Hāna. Our guide Randy was very knowledgeable about the local history and horticulture. Amazing views and wonderful photo opportunities. Comfortable ride with a lovely lunch provided. Happy to have Randy guide us along the twists and turns of the road so that we could fully appreciate the splendour. A “must do” experience on Maui.

  First time in Hawaii and heard from many that the Road to Hana is an absolute must do adventure—completely agree after taking the tour! The tour was nicely broken up into segments so never too long in the very comfortable van. We could have swum underneath a waterfall, but chose not to; however did go swimming on a black sand beach and walk through a lava tube. We saw Hawaiian green sea turtles on another beach and enjoyed a pleasant picnic lunch at still another beach in Hana. Got to experience banana bread made with local bananas—grocery store bananas back home will never ever compare again! This is definitely an experience where it’s all about the journey not the destination though Hana is a pretty town. The tour was excellent but the driver/tour guide, Ray, made it truly exceptional. He’s friendly, engaging and doesn’t let anyone shrink into the background. Hadn’t gone more than 10 miles before he knew the name of every one on the tour and where we are from.   We had a great time. It’s a long trip but was worth it because of our EXCELLENT guide, Steve Moore. He was knowledgeable, interesting and kept our attention during the tour. He also pointed out unusual, but great , photo opportunities.

  I have never gone along on the road to Hana but I doubt I could have made a better choice of tour operators. It was wonderful to see al the sights along the way but the best part for me was having Ray as our guide. I learned more about Hawaiian history than I ever knew. A whole world of information that is not widely shared. Kudos to Ray!! He is an excellent source of historical (and other) information about Maui and Hawaii in general. He is a keeper. Thank you Ray!!

  Staff was very courteous, both on the phone and in person. Getting picked up at our airbnb was a nice bonus. Breakfast and lunch meals were both hearty and good food. Our guide, Gayle, was so knowledgeable about the many trees, plants, flowers, towns, waterfalls, etc. Loved all of our stops along the way. Gayle gave great directions and tips on what to do at each stop along our tour. There were 3 couples plus Gayle on our tour and we had a good time together. Full day, loved it!
