Swimming in the calm waters along Mangel Halto Beach; beginner and advanced snorkelers enjoy this turquoise-blues imbued paradise well known for its crystal, clear, shallow snorkel areas. Discover the Kappel Shipwreck, amazing coral reefs, colorful fishes (Parrotfish, Triggerfish, Pufferfish, Angelfish, Damselfish, Surgeonfish, Yellowtail Snapper, Grouper, Blue tang , Trumpetfish, Trunkfish, Wrasse, Butterflyfish), crustaceans (Hermit Crab, Edible Crab, Lobster), molluscs (Oyster, Scallop, Octopus, Squid) and echinoderms (Sea Stars, Sea Cucumbers, Sea urchins, Sand dollars).

You will experience the best snorkeling in the Mangel Halto Reef area AND YOU WILL VISIT THE KAPPEL SHIPWRECK with experienced instructors and guides to explore the beautiful under water world and ecosystem. First We will go to the PADI dive Center in Mangel Halto to choose the gear, Briefing how to use them and explain hand signals, fishes and corals to identify and procedures. Showers and Restroom available. Second we will go to the Reef. We will stay in the water 1 hour and then we will come back to the Dive Center. We will snorkel the Kappel Shipwreck

3.00It says that the excursion is 2.4 hours, but about half of that was the drive to the snorkeling spot and getting fitted for the equipment. Other Viator experiences have had the experience last for the posted time. The guides were friendly and helpful and there were plenty of fish to see.

5.00Snorkeling with Nautilus Deve Center was great fun. I went by myself, and since I was the only one signed up, I got a private experience. Javier spent a fair amount of time getting me into equipment that fit my tiny frame, but didn't spend ages going over everything, which I appreciated: I wanted to get going and get in the water! Javier was terrific, keeping close to me. He was very attuned to my safety and comfort level. Saw lots of beautiful fish; I wish they'd had a poster or handout or something listing the fish we might see. I had read the Mangel Halta beach could be challenging for some swimmers, but I did just fine (Javier accused me of lying when I said I was only a pretty OK swimmer, when he thought I did quite well.) Overall, a fantastic experience I'd be happy to repeat.

5.00Alex was a fantastic guide who answered all my questions about Aruba and the waters we explored. Not only that, he took photos and videos with my phone - a true bonus. We saw lots of fish, coral, and more, including a shipwreck in about 30’ of water. The first part of the snorkel trip is a bit of a workout against the current but nothing too hard and after that, it’s an easy drift back to the wreck. Coupled with pickup at and a return to my hotel (20 minutes away), this made for an incredible morning activity. Thanks for a truly memorable experience, Alex!

5.00outstanding wonderful staff. Great gentle sense of humor, patient, good instruction. I had trouble with seasickness and one of the staff members was super kind and patient and helped me back early. Did have enough time to see lots of cool fish and coral! Relaxed chill fun atmosphere.

2.00It took about an hour and a half to actually get in the water. First we were taken to the "dive shop" to get gear but our guide had to go back to the car to drive somewhere to get waivers for us to sign. Should have been in the car or at least at the dive shop. On the way back we had to wait at a gas station for the owner to come pay for gas so we could get back to ship--shouldn't have sent car out without a full tank. Our guide Carlos was great but unfortunately the water was too rough for us to have a good experience. Too much swimming to get out to reef and we gave out before. Didn't see that much fish. This is supposed to be a good snorkeling beach but I've seen better.

3.00Once we got in the water, the snorkeling was pretty good. Our guide, Carlos, took a bunch of videos and shared them afterwards. However, logistically the company needs to reconsider some things. Was picked up in a pretty beat up vehicle that did not have seat belts in the back seat and had a significant gas leak thus both my wife and I had a headache from the fumes once we arrived. They got us a taxi for the ride back to the cruise port, but the driver was upset and rude.

4.00Had a wonderful time and would recommend. Everyone was accommodating even the last minute request to add two people. I would recommend bringing your own gear so it fit properly but their gear works for most.

5.00Great spot. Good equipment and safety. So much easier to go with a great guide like than on your own. And they picked me up so I didn't need to worry about getting there. Lots of fishes to see and the guide could tell us something about them. I saw a sting ray too.

5.00What an amazing snorkeling! Junior at Nautilus Dive Center Aruba was a great guide! We saw so many fish! There was 3 of us total in our group. I recommend this tour through Nautilus Dive Center. 10 out of 5 stars!
