  Transportation around Capri was not the greatest because it was very busy. At first, I thought I had made a huge mistake but after understanding how the logistics had to be, I put that disappointment aside. Due to the crowds we missed the Blue Grotto but we had a great boat tour! Our guide checked on us even when we were on free time. He provided lots of advice about options for our free time. We had a beautiful day in Capri.

  It is a small island with one road up and down. Be patient with all the commuting to and from Port, AnnaCapri, and Capri. Would loved more time in AnnaCapri (more local shops) then Capri (Designer shops). Blue Grotto was closed and seems to happen quite often. The boat ride around the island was fantastic. Probably would have preferred the boat to the grotto anyway.

  I had a lovely time on this small group tour from Naples to Capri, Anacapri, and the Blue Grotto. Our guide, whose name I believe was Paola, was kind, helpful, and kept things running smoothly throughout the day. Seeing the Blue Grotto was definitely a highlight—it was a unique experience, even though you're only inside the grotto for about 2–3 minutes due to how many boats go in and out on a nice day. The only feedback I have is that it would be great if before being split into two buses, the overall group is asked in advance whether they’d like to join a private boat tour around the island instead of having free time to shop in Capri. My friend and I weren’t given that option ahead of time and ended up on a public boat tour, while the other half of the group that we were not with went on the private tour. The guide was very helpful in making sure we could navigate to the public departure point, and it was overall fine but not nearly as enjoyable due to how crowded it was. That aside, the island was stunning and it was still a lovely day!

• Our best day in Italy

  We took the train from Rome to Naples for the day. This tour to Capri & Anacapri was the highlight of our trip to Italy and Marcella was an excellent guide. We had a fantastic lunch of Caprese Ravioli at a restaurant she recommended. There was time for taking photos, shopping and sampling tons of lemon products in Anacapri. We did not take the optional chair lift ride. The weather was great and we were able to see the Blue Grotto which was magical. The line wasn’t bad early in the morning. Everyone arrived early and we had enough time to ride the funicular down to the port for a boat ride around the island (small additional fee). The boat ride was fantastic with views of rock formations, caves and vibrant shades of blue & green water. Definitely worth adding if you have the option.

  Our guide Michele was fantastic. He was wonderful as he timed each segment of the tour perfectly, the Blue Groto was breathtaking. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and humorous as well. He made the experience very enjoyable. The overall tour was so was well worth the time & cost. Thank you!
