Explore the oldest and also the most important Prague monument - the Castle, the traditional seat of the Czech monarchs, since 1918 the president of the republic.
Through successive reconstructions and modifications, the original hill fort from the 9th century became one of the largest castle complexes in the world.
During the guiding tour, you will enjoy a visit to the Cathedral of St. Vitus, the old Royal Palace with the Vladislav Hall, the Basilica of St. George, and the Golden Lane.
You will see the masterpieces of architects, sculptors, and artists who lived here in different centuries, worked, and created a unique monument, which today is admired by millions of visitors.

Our Prague castle tour with a local guide is a “skip the ticket line” tour. It means you will get your admission ticket before the tour starts, or during the tour. Unfortunately, to visit the interiors, all guides and their tourists have to stand in a common line. There is no special entrance for guides. Fortunately, the line moves quickly enough. We will do our best to make sure you don't get bored in line. Our guides will tell you interesting facts and legends that you will not find in guidebooks or answer your questions.

You will start in front of the First Courtyard of Prague Castle. The first courtyard of Prague Castle is one of the four courtyards of Prague Castle. It has the form of an honorary court and forms the ceremonial western entrance from Hradčanské náměstí (Castle District marketplace) to the Castle.
Prague Castle
The guide will lead you to the Second Courtyard of Prague Castle. The courtyard acquired its present appearance under the reign of Maria Theresa of the House of Habsburg after the middle of the18th century. Here you can find the Prague Castle Picture Gallery, Chapel of the Holy Cross, Imperial Stables and the Office of the President of the Czech Republic.

5.00Brilliant tour. Our guide was very nice and informative. She showed us all the highlights and has us enthralled in the history. Only thing is plan how you get there carefully. There are a lot of stairs to get up to the meeting point. Just FYI

1.00This was, unfortunately, the worst small-group tour I’ve ever experienced. Despite all tickets being prepaid, it took our guide nearly 45 minutes to secure entry. By the time we reached the cathedral, the line had wrapped around the entire building, and we ended up wasting two and a half hours for just a brief 10-minute visit inside. Even more disappointing, the tour did not include two of the key sites we had paid to see—the Old Royal Palace and Golden Lane. Instead, the guide attempted to downplay their importance rather than adjust the schedule to include them. She simply had run out of time and wouldn’t help us get our money back for this tour. Overall, the experience was poorly managed and did not deliver what was promised.

5.00This tour is very informative. We learned a lot about the history of Prague Castle. However, be ready to walk and standing for a long time. Anya, our guide is one of the best guides we’ve had. She clearly knows and understands all of the important facts about the castle’s history. This tour is highly recommended. Also, we were lucky enough to get a gorgeous weather 😊
