The best part of this tour is the down-home hospitality Sam tries to deliver with every ride. There is no real set schedule, so we have a bit more flexibility in how we do things. Sam will help you from the time you first write to the time she hugs you goodbye at the last stop and beyond if you're traveling to anywhere else that she is familiar with. I did not really know what to expect from this tour when booking, as my whole trip was a fairly last minute decision and I did not have the time to research as much as I usually would. Having taken the tour today, I may just trust to luck more often as it was a fantastic day! 😁 Our guide Evan was knowledgeable, entertaining and passionate about showing all that is good about Nova Scotia whilst also providing background on some of the more unpleasant aspects of the history of the province. Some of the sights and places you will see on this tour will make you want to see much more of this part of the world. Our group consisted of four solo travellers and a couple, all of varying ages and nationalities but the whole vibe of the tour encouraged us to chat and get to know each other’s perspectives, which only added to the experience. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

We had an incredible time with Evan! He was so fun and had so much knowledge about the area and took us to spots we wouldn't have found on our own. Great time with great company, I would recommend to anyone coming to Nova Scotia to book here!

What a day! Hannah was a fabulous tour guide, engaging and informative. She gave us insight to each stop before we arrived and gave us plenty of time to explore. We loved Peggy's Cove, a dramatic change from the lush Halifax surroundings to the stark granite boulders (erratics), the lighthouse and it's surroundings views. On to Lunenburg and it's charming shops, waterfront, and restaurants. We also made short stops for coffee and to see the tidal basin and beaches. Highly recommend!!
