Nationaal Monument Kamp Vught
On this small group tour, we will visit the remainders of the concentration camp with its reconstructed watchtowers, barracks, crematorium and children’s memorial. This impressive memorial, which is centrally located on the campgrounds, lists the names and ages of the 1,269 Jewish children who were deported in June 1943. After a visit to the memorial center and museum, there will be time to walk to the execution area, located in the surrounding woods. A memorial has been erected here that displays the names of the prisoners who were executed at this site.

This tour was educational, moving and done with a very personal touch. Eva shared her family’s experiences of their time in hiding during the Holocaust and how it impacted them going forward. Because of the small group size people were free to discuss and ask questions and it made the experience much more meaningful. I can’t recommend this tour enough.

camp vught is a somber place. Nicely presented the history. Unfortunately, our tour guide/driver was not very telling. She only gave us a brief description of the camp 5min before getting there. That was abour all. So I found it quite expensive for what we got in return. Eva, who is the owner of this tour company WAS NOT our guide. Most of the reviews I has read where about her and all the history and stories that she told along the way. That WAS NOT THE CASE TODAY. its a shame because I feel we didn’t get our moneys worth.

They cancelled us at the last minute because there weren’t enough people signed up. Left us no time to book excursion from ship. They should have notified us much earlier to let us make other arrangements. Quite a disappointment. Really looking forward to it.

This trip was one of the most meaningful we have ever done. Eve was a fantastic guide and I learned so much from her- more than just facts and things from books, but the real life implications that continue. I wish our young adult kids had been with us- this matters!!!
