5.00We have done wine tours in California and Italy. This one was by far the best one we have been on. Our tour guide Carlos was a fountain of information. We stopped in Sines for a quick coffee and to take some pictures of the castle there. Then he pulled off the road to show us cork trees. He explained the whole process with examples of different corks and how they are harvested. Really fascinating! When we made it to the vineyard, he gave us a full tour of the manufacturing process and storage of the wines, both red and white. We also saw the bottling process. He went the extra mile to answer questions and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the wine and the tapas. If you do one tour while in the Algarve, do this one!

5.00We absolutely loved this trip. Carlos was so knowledgeable about everything from buildings, trees and of course wine and how it’s made. We got to try plenty of great wine, and even got some snacks for good measure. Fully recommend.
