5.00This tour was very worthwhile and I would recommended it to anyone wanting to learn some interesting history from WW2. It was good going on this tour after watching the Anthropoid movie. Our tour guide Allen was exceptional and was friendly and very knowledgeable on the history and context of Prague during the 20th century.

His historical insight is enormous, and he conveys it in an incredibly empathetic, engaging, and passionate way, as if our group of tourists was the only group Allen has ever guided. It is quite simply very rare worldwide to encounter such a top-qualified guide as Allen. The fact that Allen is also sympathetic, invites dialogue in a nice way—without being intrusive, and has a twinkle in his eye—just makes the guiding even better. We simply lost all sense of time and place during the three hours the tour lasted. Allen's historical context regarding WW2 was refined and provided understanding of the historical preconditions. 5.00We took this tour with Allen as a group of 4 friends, with only one of us having some experience of this Operation. Allen was a most interesting and passionate guide to this very sad and heroic moment in Prague WWII history. He included iPad photos and exceptional detail into the time and feeling of this dark period of history. The final visit to the crypt in the Ss Cyril & Methodius Cathedral was fascinating and reverent at the same time. I would definately recommend this tour and Allen as your chosen tour guide.
