Golem Grad, known as Snake Island, is a wild and mysterious place home to countless Snakes(mostly non-venomous snakes) and rare Pelicans,and Turtles. Hidden within Lake Prespa, the island is untouched by human settlement and rich with secret stories.
Pick up from Ohrid(or neighboring location of Ohrid..before our start you need to tell us the location..) transfer to the village of "Stenje"or Konjsko"and take a boat trip to the location,guiding tour there with licensed tour guide round 1.h and return back by boath and transfer to the city.We may stop on the way back for drink or food at your request in the village of Stenje city of Resen or next place on the route..we will have a little break enjoy ourselves.. and then we'll continue to the starting point.(the whole tour lasts 5-6h.Min 2-per.)

5.00Located on Lake Prespa, Snake Island (Golem Grad) contains Horned vipers, Dice snakes and Hermann's Tortoises. I went to the Village Konjsko, talked to the locals and paid someone to take me to the island. I had a good time exploring the island, but was also disappointed. I specifically went to see Horned vipers, but because of the cooler, rainy weather, I was skunked! Two weeks of extreme heat and sun; it rains the night before my trip with cooler temperatures. I did find dozens of Hermann's tortoises.
