The Daymaniat Islands are a snorkeling hotspot around Muscat. You can snorkel with many sea Turtles, sharks, Rays and colorful Fish. Our guides will show you the most beautiful sites around the nine islands in the nature reserve.

After a 45 - 60 minutes Boat ride we reach Daymaniat Islands who lay just 26 kilometers of the coast of Muscat. This snorkeling excursion will take you to 2 different locations where you can see Turtles, Black tip sharks, Rays, Eels and different Reef Fish. Between November and April we will have a stop on the beach usually between the two snorkeling locations. you have time to walk around the Island, take pictures and relax on the beach. From May to October three is no access to the beach because of the Turtle / Bird nesting season We are proud Green Tourism Silver Award holders. There is no Single Use plastic on our trips

5.00Turtles were the absolute highlight of our trip. The Captains were amazing, friendly, helpful, and ensured everyone respected the ocean. They didn't use or give us any plastic which I appreciated, catered sandwiches for vegetarians, extremely informative and well organised.

5.00We had an amazing boat trip. Captain Fahad and Abdul gave us such a warm welcome – always smiling, friendly and incredibly helpful. They truly made this moment magical from start to finish. From the warm reception, to the thrill of the boat ride, to the snorkeling – thanks to Captain Fahad’s expertise and deep knowledge of the area, we were able to see no fewer than 8 turtles, an octopus, and blacktip sharks. And what can I say about the hospitality – club sandwiches, wraps, fresh fruit, and local cakes… absolutely top. What also really stood out was their strong respect for the environment. You can feel that they are genuinely passionate about protecting nature and making sure everything is preserved with care. I highly recommend this experience.

5.00Beautiful boat excursion for the whole day with lunch on the beach. They took us snorkelling in two places where we swam between colorful fish and many turtles. They give you all their masks, fins and if necessary life jackets. Also much appreciated the bottle as a gift and the link from which to download the underwater photos taken during the excursion.

5.00We had a lovely morning snorkelling and exploring the island. The company is really friendly and we had great communication. We have never seen so many turtles all at once. We also walked across the island to see small sharks- not to swim with though. The 2 captains made us feel very safe and provided sandwiches, biscuits and water. I would thoroughly recommend this company for a visit to the Daymaniat islands.

5.00Hands down one of the best experiences of our lives, something that will remain in our hearts and minds forever. From Lia's help and kindness throughout the booking process to Captain Fahad and first mate Saeed's warmth and knowledge of the ocean and seacreatures, we felt safe, informed, and happy all day. A special thank you to captain Fahad who we love and appreciate his tenderness and attentiveness to us and our children, always making sure we are safe and involved. A truly special person and team. 5.00Fantastic 1/2 day to snorkel with turtles at the Daymaniat Islands. Very organised and safe trip. Captain Nassir and Abdul were welcoming, knowledgable and ensured that we had a great experience. We were very fortunate to also see cuttlefish during the snorkelling. On the boat trip we saw a whale shark and pods of dolphins adding to a very memorable morning! We chose the Daymaniat Shells team because of their conservation work and can highly recommend them.

5.00Found by chance with the search for various tours, I must say that we probably chose the best. Unlike other tours the boat was brand new, very fast and comfortable. Also the directions, both before, during the payment and the trip were perfect. You can see that they like to do this job and are very careful to preserve the whole nature of the place with different actions: you are given a bottle to avoid the use of disposable plastics and then the captain always ensures to clean the beaches where he takes you. We saw turtles, sharks, octopuses and even dolphins on the way back.
