  Our guide was excellent and knowledgeable. Our kids (12 & 14) were able to fully participate and learned quickly how to snorkel and kayak. Things to know: 1) wear reef-safe sunscreen 2) use the bathroom by the parking lot before meeting the group 3) you leave your bags with at the tent while out so you don't need a waterproof bag (though I was glad I brought my phone in a waterproof case)

  This is a very nice excursion. Josh is a good leader, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He provided a good introduction to snorkeling. I had snorkeled once before, so his instruction was a good refresher for me, and enough that the family members who had not snorkeled before were quite comfortable out in the water. As others have noted the water was a little murky for us as well, so the colors were not too vibrant, but we did see coral and fish. You have to accept the risks of the weather and the sea! We then kayaked to a spot to leave the kayaks and then walk to the Large Lagoon area where Josh explained the environment and the difference between the 4 types of Mangrove trees. Back to the kayaks to paddle back to the starting point. Some kayaking tips might have helped a few people in the group, but most seemed able to handle it well. The water and snacks were most appreciated, amazing how hungry you feel when you finish.

  Me and my friends really enjoyed our kayak and snorkeling eco-adventure with Joshua as our guide. He was very kind and always made sure we were all doing ok. I really liked this excursion because it had a little of everything. A great kayak trip along the coast over to the nature preserve for an informative walk looking at different parts of the nature preserve. Kayaked back to the starting point and then had a great time snorkeling. Thank you so much Joshua, it was the highlight of our whole trip!

  Josh was terrific - very knowledgeable about Puerto Rico and the excursion. We snorkeled first - unfortunately there had been a storm the evening before so the water was a bit "murky" - but we did get to see a few cool fish. We then went kayaking and explored a nature preserve you can only get to via walking or by water.

  Had a nice time. Would recommend if you want a chill experience. Keep in mind a lot depends on the weather but we were able to see sea turtles above water. If you kayak slowly you’ll be able to see more of the sea life.

  Had a great time kayaking and snorkeling with Joshua, he was very informative about the local habitat. It was more fun for us to go as a small group than on a big charter with lots of people, it felt more relaxed and personal

  Joshua was an excellent tour guide. Our group had never snorkeled before and was very comfortable throughout the experience.

  Joshua tailored the excursion very well to the group. He provided historical and environmental lessons as we toured the locations, but was mindful in asking what the group wanted. The kayak trip and nature walk were very fun, as was the snorkeling. Joshua was very knowledgeable about the history of the island as well as the flora and fauna. We saw so many different types of fish, and even some eels. Safe, relaxing, fun, and informative. Joshua was very patient and helpful teaching us how to use the snorkeling gear. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone! We had a wonderful time, and the surrounding beaches and park are beautiful (parking was only $5 per day!).

  This activity was the highlight of our trip! Staff were friendly and thoughtful. The equipment was clean and in great shape. Our guide was funny and informative and made sure our 10 year old first time snorkeler felt comfortable. We had a beautiful kayak to a short nature walk with a history lesson and a swim. We then enjoyed easy snorkeling where we saw many fish, including a Lion Fish! It felt good to support a family business that cares about the local ecology.
