The day begins with the sighting of long-billed dolphins, who dance and twirl above the waves in a fascinating aerial ballet. We will continue with a first snorkeling stop at the site of the Aquarium, an enchanted underwater world where plane and boat wrecks lie in silence, surrounded by clouds of tropical fish. A desk and a large coral heart add a magical touch to this magical decor. Then head to the ocean to explore a spectacular site, where underwater freshwater springs spring and a multicolored coral garden flourishes. You will have the chance to swim alongside sea turtles, getting close to them in their natural habitat. However, this meeting remains subject to the presence of animals and cannot be guaranteed at every exit. Finally, we will land on a splendid white sandbank, in the heart of sparkling turquoise water. The pastenague rays will slip at your feet as you enjoy an authentic Polynesian meal, made from raw fish with coconut milk, white rice and seasonal tubers, accompanied by water, juice and local beer.

Very Nice Snorkeling

5.00We reserved the afternoon snorkeling tour on a Saturday. Our captain/guide (Juan?) met us at the gate to the marina at the appointed time and took us to the nearby boat. The boat was relatively small but had plenty of room for the 6 of us on the trip and there was no trouble navigating the calm waters around Papeete. We made two stops for snorkeling. The first was to see the coral and fish within the lagoon and the second was to look for turtles a little further away, in the ocean. Both stops were very nice and there way plenty to see. Juan got in the water with us to point out the highlights. The third stop was shallower and we snorkeled some more while Juan fixed a late lunch. It was a very nice spot for snorkeling as the water was calm and shallow and there was plenty of coral. Back in the boat, we had the traditional Tahitian tuna in coconut milk and some fruit. Both were very good. Afterwards, we took the short ride back to the marina. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and Juan did a nice job.

5.00Fun snorkeling on two reefs, saw turtles, spinner dolphins and a variety of fish. The boat was comfortable and a delicious lunch was served.

1.0080 % was spent riding around on water. Water time very limited. I could not go in the water a 2nd time because it was impossible to enter raft on a small steel ladder(very slippery)
Excellent enjoyable. Wonderful to watch the ocean change colour

5.00It was wonderful. The guide was terrific helpful informative and I liked the way he would stop the boat to pick up rubbish. The meal was enjoyable and having it on the ocean was great. I enjoyed the swimming and because I no a good swimmer the guide would regularly check on me. A experience to remember

5.00Our Captain, Israel, was absolutely fantastic! He was so friendly, enthusiastic and warn. He was also lots of fun, had a great sense of humour - my husband, myself and our three teenagers really liked him. The trip was awesome - we saw stingrays, sharks, dolphins (they swam beside the boat) and the highlight was the turtles! The lunch was delicious, the beer was cold - a perfect day out. I recommend this trip to everyone!
