With the choice of three daily departures from Cairns, this Green Island cruise is perfect for visitors with limited time, offering a half or full day experience (up to 7 hours). You will have the choice of a glass bottom boat coral viewing tour or snorkelling equipment.

Green Island National Park
Green Island is a beautiful 6000 year old coral cay. It's the only coral cay on the Great Barrier Reef with a rainforest! You will have a choice of snorkel equipment to snorkel from the white sandy beaches or to stay dry and see the island's reef from the glass bottom boat. Enjoy a walk through the lush rainforest.

5.00The island was so beautiful and to be able to see the reef was an exciting experience. Unfortunately it isn’t very long, it is over too quickly. However our captain was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

2.00Most of the reviews i write are positive because when i pick one tour i have done the research to match my preferences. This experience was not good. Green island is overhyped, and unless you do scuba diving, not much to do, as the beach is not that good either. Facilities are dirty, no good food. We took the glass bottom boat tour; it’s too short, the fish we got to see are “artificially” attracted by the boat operator feeding them, and the corals are underwhelming. On the positive side the staff of the catamaran are very good, helpful, cheery and with a contagious enthusiasm.

4.00Well organised boat trip to Green Island. We enjoyed the glass bottom boat tour and saw many turtles and fish. Afterwards we went for a swim and saw many fish.
