  It had been thawing for a few days, making the snow a kind of porridge. The snowmobile had to go through this 'pap' instead of over the snow. Scooter poorly steered and gave the feeling that we were driving over big bumps. Two scooters fell on the side. We drove ours stuck in the snow and almost drove into a lake. With all my might the snowmobiles had to be pulled up again In my opinion irresponsible that they let this trip go ahead.

  We were equipped for the snowmobile safari at the starting point with winter clothes, winter shoes, gloves and helmets etc. The rules were explained point by point in numerous languages, questions answered and then signed. There you could store your things well, change well and go to the toilet. It was pleasantly warm there. From there we took the VW bus out of the centre of Rovaniemi and into the snow. We were three small groups with 3 guides Joey, Theo and Bo - all three were very supportive and friendly. Instructions for the snowmobiles were given in a very understandable way. Again, it was possible given in English, Spanish, Italian and French. Then we drove (the route was wonderful and the weather was great), at the stops we were able to take photos and with double-use snowmobiles the driver could be changed. Finally, we had a warm blueberry juice to warm up. The different driving experiences were taken into account in an uncomplicated, adaptive manner. Our guide Joey was friendly, helpful, informative and accompanied our small group of 5 snowmobiles (single and double occupied) confidently through the Finnish winter. Payment and booking was straightforward. The price-performance ratio was top and we would recommend the offer to others and even use it again ourselves.

  A fantastic snowmobile experience at the AITO IGLOO&Spa resort hotel. We were followed in a very professional and friendly way by guide Gabriel Girba. With him always checking us for our first snowmobile guide we traveled for 2 h ni woods around the hotel.

  The experience is great, very friendly staff. The only thing that for the kids who go in the sled should put some blanket or something, since they have been cold during the activity.

  Even though it was cloud and drizzle it was a great experience reaching the glacier. Even though I had never used a snowmobile before I was kitted out with all the gear and shown how to manage it. We were out on the glacier for more than an hour and Even reached speeds of 60km ! Thanks to Peter for handling that monster vehicle that was needed to get us there safely and back !

  The staff provided us with stocks, boots, overalls, gloves, balaclavas and helmets and thoroughly explained how to drive the snowmobile. I must say I was a little nervous but soon got the hang of how to drive and control the machine. The scenery was magical, going through the forest and over frozen lakes and even crossing a road. The guides gave us a warm berry drink after which we could swap drivers. An experience which you must do.

  Very fun time even though I got stuck with a vehicle that had a defective throttle, limiting the speed to catch up to others in the group. The guide mentioned ours was the first group not to have any accidents and from the bumpiness of the course, I can easily understand how someone with not enough upper body strength can lose control Of the snowmobile during the tour. The guides were very good in pre ride instructions and taking pictures and checking frequently that everyone was still together. If you have never driven a snowmobile, try a tour for beginners before taking this one as the course we rode on is very busy and you need to have a good command of the vehicle to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
