  I wanted a longer tour with the snowmobile and I was not disappointed. We were out for about 6 hours in the beautiful wilderness. Tuomas is an incredibly patient and competent guide. I would always ride with Polar Max!

  When booking the snowmobile tour, I knew that one thing was especially important to me — a small group. I couldn’t have chosen a better snowmobile agency. I was lucky that the owner was also our guide. There were only three of us on the tour. From the very beginning, the owner was extremely warm and calm. He explained everything clearly during the briefing. He was very informative, and I was especially surprised by how he handled an unexpected situation I found myself in 🫣 The couple from Germany also contributed to making this a wonderful experience. So overall: a kind owner, good equipment, a beautiful landscape, and lovely guests with whom I shared this unforgettable experience.   Thank to all of you, Marko, Tomas & Paula the wonderful 3 hours tour we had ! We will never forget the amazing landscapes, the sun lights in the trees, far way from civilization... It was very cold this day (-25/-30ºC) but PolarMax is so professional and at the same time a small business family, that everything was perfectly organized : clothes, boots, heated parts of the snow mobiles, adapted helmets for people wearing glasses. Everything done for the safety and the well being of their customers. Our guide Tomas was so caring, patient, friendly and give us very clear instructions to drive. At the way back, Paula had prepared some hot drinks and very nice buiscuits. And thanks a lot also to Marko who collected us at Rovaniemi and took care of us giving information too. Lovely time, all the best to you. Marie + André

  We had an amazing snowmobile tour through a breathtaking landscape of forests, rivers, and frozen lakes. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and made the whole experience unforgettable. All the necessary equipment was provided by POLARMAX, which made everything very easy and comfortable. Before the tour started, we received a thorough and professional introduction, so even beginners could feel safe and confident. During the tour, Marko and his wife shared many interesting stories and information about the country, the region, and the local people, which made the experience even more special. At the end of the tour, we were welcomed with coffee or tea and warm pastries — a perfect and cozy finish to a fantastic adventure. Highly recommended!

  The Tour was Perfect. Well organised with good instructions. We Drove through the wonderful nature (frozen lakes/Rivers, Forrester and on top of a Mountain Off the Grid). Very personal guidance and a lot of fun included. Warm drinks and buns After the tour! Come and try!

  We came from Norway, and it was worth driving such a long way because of the great ride, we are very satisfied, we had a great time, maybe the extreme ride was missing, but everything was very good, I recommend it to everyone 10 points

  Our snowmobile tour with Polarmax Rovaniemi was absolutely fantastic and one of the highlights of our entire trip! From the very beginning, we received an incredibly warm welcome and immediately felt comfortable. Despite freezing temperatures of -26°C (-15°F), we were perfectly equipped with thick thermal overalls, warm boots, and even hand and foot warmers. Thanks to this excellent equipment, we could fully enjoy the adventure without feeling cold. The safety briefing was professional, clear, and gave us complete confidence before setting off. And the scenery – simply breathtaking! We rode across frozen lakes, through deeply snow-covered forests, and even up a small hill with meters-high snow. The landscape around Rovaniemi looked like something out of a winter fairytale – untouched, peaceful, and unbelievably beautiful. Every single moment felt magical. After this unforgettable ride, we warmed up with coffee and hot chocolate, accompanied by delicious cinnamon buns – the perfect ending to an extraordinary experience. A very special thank you to T. for this incredible adventure, the excellent guidance, and the genuine passion. We would book this tour again anytime!

  This was an awesome tour with awesome guides! I have never driven a snowmobile and they made it simple and safe for myself and the group. Their shared snow gear was clean and in good shape. The guides placed safety above all but that doesn't mean we didn't get to go fast or that the tour was boring. What impressed me most was that they needed us to change our time and instead of just telling us, "sorry, if you can't make it we'll refund you..." they actually paid for a taxi to come get us and take us back to our hotel since our hotel shuttle didn't run at the new time we needed to be there. Some of these excursions are in and out which I get it especially in high season. This company really cared about your experience. They love the sport and want you to also appreciate it. We went over frozen lakes, rivers, uphill trails, under power lines, and ended on a hill top with a beautiful view. This is how you want to experience Lapland, with these people.
