At Hey Captain we do Social Sailing, where you meet new people and explore Copenhagen harbor. We started as friends on a boat and this is the atmosphere we want to deliver to our guests. It's a talk and a dialogue more than your standard classical tour.
The Captain’s Favorite is for you who wants to explore all of Copenhagen in its full glory. We explore the development of the harbor by journeying through areas that has been built by creating artificial islands over the last many decades. We do a brief stop at the fortress on Trekroner Island where history mix with the future, when we explore the historic fortress and see the first land reclamation of Lynetteholmen - the future island of Copenhagen. We then continue to Nordhavn where you experience firsthand the modern part of Copenhagen and how urbanization is transforming the industrial harbor into the recreational oasis that has made Copenhagen so famous. In the end we finish off with the picturesque canals of the old city centre.

5.00Greatly enjoyed this 3 hour boat tour - easy to book and find, easy from start to finish! Our tour guide was super friendly and had lots of interesting insights into local sights and info. A particular favorite was visiting the abandoned military site on the island! It felt more like having a friend give you a tour of where they live - intimate and chatty! Would highly recommend!

5.00Dress warm and get ready for a superb experience. Water is super calm so not bad for those unsure about boating. Well informed, casual captain showed us places other tours don’t go to. There’s a variety of beverages for purchase glogg, cocoa, beer. The boat is really cute outfitted with lanterns, blankets. Restroom break during one stop. 10/10 recommend, I think you’ll love it.

5.00Booked this after a friend recommended it. I was actually the only one booked on the booking. So was like a private tour with Matilda. Had a lovely time sailing around chatting and Matilda telling me about Copenhagen. Highly recommend.

5.00Amazing! Highly recommend. Mathilde provided the perfect balance of conversation and telling us about the city. All the staff were super kind, knowledgeable and professional - what a contrast to the overcrowded big boats. Cozy blankets, warm drinks and pleasant company.

5.00This tour was a great way to see Denmark in a unique way. Our favorite part was being able to get out and explore the island that you can only get to by boat that has served many purposes throughout the years. We also enjoyed being able to talk to other passengers and get to hear their stories. Matilda was a great captain and very knowledgeable. She made our experience very enjoyable.

5.00Excellent guide. The trip is interesting because the guide does not just make a monotonous description, quite the opposite. During the trip a relationship of trust and collaboration is established between the guide and the group. As there is a greater proximity between the parties, the trip/excursion becomes more exciting. I recommend.

4.00Excellent trip around canals of Copenhagen on a cold day with plenty of mulled wine and other refreshments to keep us warm . Guide Sam very knowledgeable and made our trip a very enjoyable one .
