Experience one of the top-rated outdoor activities in Scottsdale with Desert Dog Offroad! For over 27 years, we’ve been Scottsdale’s go-to choice for unforgettable Sonoran Desert off-road tours. Located just minutes from Scottsdale we offer the closest desert trails in The National Forest.

Climb into your own 2026 UTV Trail Sport UTV and follow your expert guide across rugged desert terrain. You’ll conquer rock gardens, sandy washes and desert canyons, while surrounded by incredible views of the Arizona desert. This is adventure tourism in Scottsdale at its best!

Halfway through the tour, we’ll stop for water and snacks (provided), and drivers and passengers can swap. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating details about the flora and fauna of the Sonoran Desert.

We provide everything—buggies, helmets, gators, water, and snacks. You just bring your sense of adventure and discover why we’ve been voted one of the best tours in Scottsdale year after year.

    This experience was a first for both me and my wife. The guide gave clear and simple instructions for safely operating our UTV. The rentals were newer, had smooth suspension and had aggressive traction for the sandy trails.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing experience with Desert Dog Offroad Adventures! The dune buggy and jeep tours were such a fun way to explore the desert—definitely a must-do if you’re in the area. Our guide, Mike, was fantastic! He was super knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone felt safe while still having a great time. You can tell he really enjoys what he does and knows the area inside and out. Highly recommend booking with them and asking for Mike if you can!

    Ten of us came out for a bachelorette party and had an absolute blast on the dune buggies! Mike was our guide and did a phenomenal job! He was super funny, patient with us, and knew how to take the best pictures! The gear was clean, the buggies were nice, easy to operate, and well-kept. I would highly recommend this adventure for any party looking for great views and something fun to do!

    Ryan and Mike took my wife and I on a fun and informational trip through the desert which is what we were looking to do. The ride was fun but not to advanced, great for newbies or beginners but still fun for experienced utv'ers
