  I highly recommend this tour to anyone who believes in sustainable farming, loves simple, authentic farm-to-table food or just loves lemons. The LaMasseria family literally invites you to taste the fruits of their labor. The scent of lemons greeted us (harvest was just starting), we tasted 3 different olive oils and the lunch with their limoncello was the perfect end to the half day tour.

  La Messeria Farm is a must do experience! We went here to celebrate a friends 40th birthday, there were 8 of us in total. We were fortunate to be collected from our hotel in Sorrento and travelled around 20 minutes in the minibus to the farm. The farm is a family ran business, and everyone in the family contributes to the tour. The sons, Eugenio and Raphael are the tour guides, Eugenio guided us round the farm. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. We learned all about the history of the farm and all about the lemon trees. Even the added bonus of feeding some of the animals. The views from the farm were spectacular. After the tour we had olive oil tasting, marmalade and lemon curd tasting all of which were made using the farm produce. Absolutely delicious! Inside of the farm we were cooked the most beautiful meal from Eugenio and Raphael’s mother. We also had wine and limoncello. They made the day extra special by bringing out a homemade lemon birthday cake for the birthday girl and happily decorated our table with some birthday banners I had brought. At the end we were given plenty of time to purchase the produce. They also come in handy luggage size bottles and jars so you can take them in your hand luggage. Eugenio and Raphael’s father proudly showed us photos of him and his father on the farm in his younger days amongst other lovely family photos. You could tell how proud he was of his family and what they have achieved together and rightly so. It was a very lovely and memorable day for us all.

  This was our favorite experience of the vacation. It was as if we were visiting a family friend. A must see!

  Can not say enough good things about our experience! Easy to follow directions for transportation. Amazing tour of the farm with plenty of information. Incredible food tasting and amazing guides. Would definitely do this again!

  It was a wonderful tour, learned a lot about the farm. Family was so welcoming and hosted a lovely, delicious meal for everyone in the tour. Highly recommend.
