  We are a family of 4 that spent a day with Owin from Gros Islet to Soufriere and back. The traffic in St Lucia is pure chaos for visitors, but we always felt safe with Owin behind the wheel. My wife and kids get car sick easily and got sick on every ride in St Lucia except for this one. There was no hard accelerating/braking. As far as the tour goes, we couldn't have asked for a better guide. Owin was a great companion for the day, had a depth of knowledge regarding the history of the island, the people, current events affecting the island and he had a encyclopedic knowledge of the flora of the island. The itinerary for the tour is not set in stone and he was very accommodating for what we wanted to see (we added Tet Paul Nature Trail). There was no hard schedule which made for a relaxing day and allowed us to just enjoy the sites. The price was set for the trip, not the number of riders; $300 for the day for 4 of us was a much better price than other tours we came across. Admission fees to the sites and food costs are on you; the restaurant we stopped at on the way to Soufriere had perhaps the best view we came across in our entire trip. He had a great sense of humor and we really enjoyed his company. We found Off the Beaten Path Taxi Service late in our trip. Had we known about the service before going, we would have tried to book Owin as our transport for every trip. I reached out directly via email and responses were very prompt. We would use the service again and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the island.

  A super day's tour with Owin to Soufriere and area. We saw everything and visited the places we had wanted to see. Great commentary, a smooth comfortable drive and such a friendly and accommodating service

  Owin is very knowledgeable about St. Lucia and punctual..We felt very safe in his care and had very enjoyable conversations about our trip, hes very friendly! If you are looking for the best driver around the beautiful island he is most definitely the driver to contact!!

  Owin picked us up from the airport to take us to our hotel. We travelled with our young baby so a safe and reliable transfer was very important. Owin is a very safe driver, polite and knowledgeable. We then booked several other trips with Owin. 100% recommend.

  If you're visiting Saint Lucia and need a reliable ride with great energy, Owin is your guy! His taxi service was honestly one of the highlights of the trip. From the moment we got in the car, it was a whole vibe—Owin had music playing, and not just background stuff—real tunes that set the mood and made the drive feel like part of the vacation.   This was my second time taking the tour and it was absolutely Outstanding Experience! Our host for the excursion, Owen, was nothing short of exceptional. He was professional, kind, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. As a native of the island, Owen has a wealth of knowledge that he shares with such passion, making the experience not only fun but incredibly enriching. He goes above and beyond to ensure everyone feels comfortable, safe, and truly enjoys themselves. It’s clear that he cares deeply about creating unforgettable memories for his guests.   First let us start by saying, thank you Owin. I'm usually not the one to write reviews however in this case I definitely will, for the wonderful experience we had. The excursions , the history lessons given, the local cuisine from Beacons & professionalism were welcomed. From the time we meet outside of the vehicle into his vehicle we learned about the culture and island. He open every door for us and stopped at every monument to explain what each stop meant. He took us to different area where local vendors sell souvenirs. He took us to the mud bath where the cost was $10.00 per person and took many pictures for us and explain the order on how to due the mud bath. He then took us to the waterfalls took pictures. Drove us by the prime ministers house. Drive us by the community college. There so much more to tell, I could go on. Please use Owin as a tour guide when ever you visit Saint Lucia.   Owin's knowledge of the area was truly impressive, and he effortlessly made us feel comfortable, ensuring a personalized experience that felt both authentic and enriching. Whether it was getting us a nice local lunch, sharing captivating anecdotes, or giving detailed history of the island, Owin made our trip to St.Lucia memorable. Not only did Owin excel as a tour guide, but his skills behind the wheel were equally commendable. He also seem to be a "Jack of All Trades". The taxi service was punctual, clean, and comfortable, offering a smooth and safe journey throughout. Owin treated us not just as passengers, but as valued guests. I would not hesitate to use Off The Beaten Path again.

  Chose Off the Beaten Path for their private tour of St Lucia having seen the 5 star reviews left by others having used them. Owin certainly lived up to the reviews. He was a little early to pick our group of 4 up which was good. We found him to be welcoming, friendly, humorous & extremely knowledgeable and gave us so much history of the island and the places he took us to. His vehicle was extremely clean, air conditioned & plenty of drinks kept in the ice box when we needed. The cost of the tour was a little cheaper than others I'd seen, but well worth every dollar. Absolutely excellent customer service from Owin and cannot recommend him highly enough for any tour or taxi service offered.
