• Interesting and Magical Day Trip to Cape Sounion

  From the beginning, we had excellent communication from Nasia at EG Tours who let me know that our original date was Greek Independence Day and all sites would be closed. We wouldn't havae realized this otherwise! She quickly rescheduled our tour for a different day, and our guide, Elias, met us at our hotel. Elias was good humored, relaxed, and incredibly knowledgeable about both recent and ancient Greek history as well as art, architecture, and the cultures of Athens. We chatted the entire way and learned many new things while going on an incredible scenic drive. We had plenty of time to see the Temple of Poseidon and did not feel rushed at all. Afterward, we stopped at a wonderful seaside Taverna for fresh fish with the charming and welcoming Nikos, and returned back to our hotel in the afternoon with fabulous memories and the feeling that we had really made a new friend. We have been on many tours and travelled all over, and Elias was one of the best tour guides we have had. The next day, we went to several of his recommended places in Athens. I highly recommend Elias and this tour if you want a nice day trip along the 'Athenian Riviera' just outside of Athens. It is a bargain for a private tour.

  We were picked up on time for a scenic ride along the coast to the Temple of Poseidon. The day was perfect and our driver very knowledgeable of the area. Our last day in Greece and a fabulous way to spend it. I highly recommend this tour and our guide was most accommodating.

  Alexander was one of the best tour guides we have ever had. He was knowledgeable and flexible to meet our needs. Besides all of the wonderful places he showed us, we were able to get a feel for the everyday life in Athens. We highly recommend him and hope to use him again if we return and also recommend him to friends who may visit Athens.

  Dem and Vlad made the tour interesting and enjoyable. Prompt pick up from the hotel and a super drive around the coast to Sounio on a beautiful day. Entry fee to the Temple ruins is €5. Great views of the coastline albeit very windy in November. The 4 brothers is a great spot for lunch. All in all, its a great way to see a side of Athens that the regular tour buses don't show.

  Ani and Vladimir were amazing. Thank you guys for the great experience. The sunset in Cape Sounion and the view were breathtaking.!!!! I totally recommend it.
