We will drive southwards through Barra and Recreio beaches to reach the wild beaches in the south. Depending on the weather conditions, we can swim or visit the Casa do Pontal Museum. Lunch at one of the Seafood restaurants is a possibility and shopping for crystal and semi-precious stones is also possible on our way back into town.

Marco, my guide is a terrific guy. He showed up on time quoted me a price. The price he quoted me was the price he charged me. He was kind he even had water in the car for me in case I was thirsty and I would highly recommend using him as a guide for your trip around Rio de Janeiro. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the City, monuments and the highlights of Rio. He asked me what I would like to do and he followed my directions and lead within the four hour time period. His car was clean and efficient and he is a very good driver. He’s funny, kind, and I would recommend if you’re going to see Rio, see it with Marco. Quality and friendly tour!

Marco’s tour was one of the highlights of our trip—he is so knowledgeable and was able to answer almost any question. It was a great way to understand a new city, and made the rest of our trip more fun, knowing so much more about the place than we could have ever discovered on our own. I especially loved that he tweaked the tour along the way based on the things that excited us the most. We learned so much, and had so much fun chatting with him along the way. We left feeling like Marco is an old friend. He even sent dining recommendations for the day after the tour. We can’t wait to hang out with Marco on our next trip to Rio!
