Are you ready for an extraordinary adventure? Join us on our South Coast tour, where you'll be immersed in a world of breathtaking beauty at every turn.
As we travel south, we'll see stunning glaciers, farmlands, and volcanoes on one side, and the beautiful shimmer of the Westman Islands on the other.
We'll visit the famous Seljalandsfoss waterfall. If the weather is good, we can walk behind the water and feel its power. We'll also see Gljúfrabúi, depending on the weather. Next, we'll go to Skógarfoss, a huge waterfall that drops 60 meters.
Then, we'll reach Vík í Mýrdal, a popular town, where we'll stop for lunch. After that, we'll visit the black sand beaches of Reynisfjara and enjoy the unique scenery.
We'll follow the Viking Trail along the coast to Sólheimajökull glacier, where we’ll get close to the ice and enjoy the view before heading back to Reykjavik. Glacier hikes are not included.
You'll enjoy this day of exploring in a small group, traveling comfortably in a minibus.

5.00Excellent full day tour exploring the south coast. Martin was our guide and gave us lots of information on the bus and then left us to explore each stop in our own time. We had perfect, cold, clear weather, which meant excellent views!

5.00Our tour guide Carlos was wonderful and made the whole tour very enjoyable! I learned so much about the country and definitely good tips for my next trip I plan. I really enjoyed this as a solo traveler and felt I got to see so many amazing landmarks all packed into one day!

5.00We‘ve had an amazing and funny driver (Simon). He planned the trip perfect. We saw each spot at the perfect daytime! We also learned interesting things about each spot. Highly recommend booking a tour with EastWest especially with Simon :)

5.00We had a fantastic day doing the South Coast Tour with EastWest and I would recommend this tour for anybody visiting Iceland. On the morning of our trip, I emailed to inform them that I can suffer with motion sickness and requested to be sat nearer the front of the bus if possible. Even though we were the penultimate stop, our driver - Julien - had reserved the front two seats for me and my husband, which meant that I could see out of the front and suffered minimally on the drives. I thought that was brilliant customer service and showed real care. A great start to the day! The trip itself was excellent. Julien was a fantastic guide. He gave lots of interesting information and brought a sense of humour to his commentary. It was clear how much he loves Iceland and he really added to our trip. All of the stops are beautiful. The waterfall that we could walk behind was the highlight! There was a storm on our journey home with lots of rain and wind. Julien drove brilliantly through this and even asked to see if I was doing ok sickness-wise. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to book another trip with East West and hope to do so again in future.

5.00An absolutely amazing tour from start to finish. The South Coast is stunning, and this experience was made even better by our driver and guide, Mona P. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, sharing fascinating stories and information throughout the journey while making sure we saw all the key sights without feeling rushed. Mona kept the group entertained, informed, and well looked after, which made the day both enjoyable and memorable. Her passion for Iceland really shone through and added so much value to the experience. If you’re booking a South Coast tour, I highly recommend East West — and if you can, ask specifically for Mona P. She truly makes the tour exceptional.
