5.00Gunnar ra was an excellent tour guide, he was so knowledgeable about the sites and Iceland in general, we learnt so much and he kept it fun throughout. The sites were amazing, and the drive to each site was beautiful too! Recommend bringing water proofs for the last waterfall, we didn’t have them and it didn’t stop us, but be warned you will get SOAKED!

5.00We just returned from the South Coast Wonders tour with Reykjavik Excursions and coming all the way from Los Angeles, we had high hopes and this tour exceeded every single one of them! Our guide Leifur was absolutely phenomenal...knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely funny. He brought Iceland’s history, geology, and culture to life in a way that made every stop feel meaningful rather than just another photo opportunity. As Californians used to sunshine and warmth, he even made us forget about the cold! He clearly loves what he does, and that enthusiasm was contagious. And a huge shoutout to our driver Magnús, who navigated the roads with such skill and confidence. He was smooth, safe, and always had us in the right spot at exactly the right time. A far cry from navigating the 405 freeway back home! Together, Leifur and Magnús made an incredible team. The South Coast is breathtaking on its own, but having guides this warm and professional elevated the whole experience to something truly special. 5.00It’s been an amazing experience. I paid around 17k ISK and the whole trip took 10.5 hours. The highlight for me was the Glacier. The tour guide Leifur was super kind and friendly and he made us laugh all the time. Magnus was our driver and the whole road felt super safe. It was around 40 people on our tour bus and due to season it wasn’t very crowded. I stay in Reykjavik for 7 days and this was a brilliant memory that i am glad i didn’t miss. The trip is best for nature lovers. The atmosphere was great, everybody was very kind and happy and we got to stop several times to eat and drink something and visit the restrooms.

5.00Super nice tour with lots of interesting spots. Our highlights were definitely the glacier and the waterfall at the end! (Waterproof clothing is highly recommended) Our second tour with Gunnar Ra., again he was a top tour guide.
