Gorgeous little South Sea Island is one of the treasures of the Mamanuca Islands. Crystal clear waters, coral reefs and thousands of colourful tropical fish surround the tiny island.
The Half Day cruise to South Sea Island is perfect for those who don't have a lot of time to spare but still want a taste of the 'real Fiji'. This fantastic cruise means you'll get to explore one of Fiji's cutest Mamanuca Islands and get into 'island time'. As the island is only 30 minutes from Denarau, you'll have time to do many of the activities on the island and meet the friendly Fijian's ashore.

Mamanuca Islands
Half a day to South Sea Island is an easy 30-minute ferry ride. Perfect for those who don't have a lot of time to spare, but still want a taste of the 'real Fiji'. This fantastic cruise means you'll get to explore one of Fiji's cutest Mamanuca Islands and get into 'island time' The island will be yours for the rest of the day until the catamaran arrives around 5.30 pm to bring you back to Port Denarau. Transfers back to select hotels/resorts in Nadi, Denarau, and Wailoaloa area are included if prebooked.
Port Denarau Marina
A complimentary coach transfer is provided for this tour from select hotels/resrts Nadi, Denarau, and the Wailoaloa area. Air-conditioned coaches will pick you from designated pick up points approximately 75 minutes before the departure time. You will then need to check in at the South Sea Cruises check-in counter. Please keep your voucher numbers or e-confirmation available when you are at the counter. Our lovely South Sea Cruises staff with a big Bula smile will then provide your boarding pass for the catamaran. Our modern catamarans have air-conditioned lounges, outside viewing decks and fully licensed bars, meaning you’ll feel on holiday, even en route to your island escape.

Half Day ex Denarau 12:15 PM coach pickup time : refer to the coach timetable on our website Duration: 5 hours: The Cruise departs Port Denarau at 12:15pm and arrives Port Denarau at 6:00pm Lunch: A BBQ buffet lunch, local beer, house wine, bottled water, and soft drinks are all included while on South Sea Island. Pick Up Area: Departs Port Denarau at 12:15pm for customers from Denarau, Wailoaloa & Nadi areas ONLY. Returns to Port Denarau at 6pm Pickup included

1.00Didn't like it. Felt cheap and rationed. Drinks included but dont dare ask for a drink for you and your spouse. Only allowed 30 minutes window for lunch. The feel just not welcoming compared to rest of the activities we experienced. I wont recommend this one.

5.00Everything was well organized! The food at lunch was delicious and having free cocktails was a bonus! Remember to bring your own towels and swim shoes are highly recommended, especially with all the rocks and coral.

5.00Great day, food was good , the staff and the dancers were lovely and very friendly. The only downside was not enough sun lounges on the beach .

4.00This island was only a 30 min boat ride from the port. It was a nice to relax on the gorgeous beach, they offer many activities such as glass bottom boat tour, snorkeling tour, and diving. The included lunch was good but it’s only offered for 30 mins so if you’re hungry after that you’re kind of out of luck.

5.00I had a wonderful time! If I knew then what I know now, I would have done the whole day. It was very easy check-in, transport to island, and the instructions were well-explained as soon as we got to the island. Then you're left to your own devices for the afternoon. Lunch is first, drinks available at all times, a couple of opportunities for snorkel or glass-bottom boat, and then you can just relax on the beach, snorkel on your own, relax relax relax. Groups are not too big and you never feel crowded on the island, but still have enough other people to chat with. Also, lunch was delicious and they made a special entre set aside because I told them I was vegetarian.
