Enjoy a full day sailing experience with South Sea Sailing around Fiji's Mamanuca Islands onboard our brand new sailing catamaran, SABRE,

Cruise through the Mamanuca Islands with the day's itinerary dependent on the warm tropical breeses and sea conditions, creating a one-off experience every day.

Sabre has large shaded canopies with a range of seating options from bean bags to booths, there is plenty of room to enjoy the idyllic islands and atolls of these beautiful islands. During the day, dine on a gourmet buffet lunch designed by our executive chef with complimentary soft drinks and bottled water all day as well as beer and wine served from lunch time onwards. The rest of the day, make use of our fully stocked bar charged on consumption.

South Sea Sailing offers a brand new 78-foot sailing catamaran. SABRE is the first and only of its kind in the southern hemisphere and provides a full-day experience like no other. This full-day sailing experience will cruise through the Mamanuca Islands with the day’s itinerary depending on the warm tropical breezes and sea conditions, creating a unique experience every day. With large shaded canopies and a range of seating options from booths to day beds and bean bags, there is plenty of room to take in the scenery. During the day, stop and snorkel at abundant, untouched tropical reefs and swim at deserted sand cays. The front of SABRE has steps for ease of access as well as a water slide. Enjoy a gourmet buffet designed by our executive chef as well as complimentary beer & wine (served from lunchtime onwards), soft drinks, and artesian mineral water (served all day). A fully licensed bar including specialty cocktails is available and charged on consumption.

Crew and the boat were awesome. Super lively bunch of crew members. The food is incredible and plenty! You won't leave hungry or thirsty. The snorkeling was a great time! You'll enjoy yourself for sure!

My girlfriend and I visited South Sea Island yesterday and had a great experience overall. From the start, check in was easy and well organised. While waiting for the boat, everything was structured and smooth with ticketing, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Everyone seemed happy and positive, which made the wait comfortable. The boat ride to the island was very smooth despite the weather being cloudy and windy so credit to the crew for making the trip feel safe and well managed. Once we arrived at South Sea Island, the experience was excellent. Although the weather wasn’t ideal (which is obviously out of the crew’s and staff’s control), The activities were very enjoyable, particularly the semi submarine ride showcasing the coral and marine life, followed by snorkelling through the same stunning reef. the food and drinks were very good and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. The staff were attentive and genuinely welcoming, always checking in and happy to help and even had a great conversation with a staff member named Lucas, who really stood out for his friendliness. Overall, this was a very enjoyable trip with great service and organisation. We would definitely recommend South Sea Island to younger couples and would love to visit again and hopefully next time with better weather. -Edwin And Alice🙏🏼

Incredible day out. The best snorkelling and incredible staff who went above and beyond to make sure everyone had an enjoyable day. Food was great too. Highly recommend and shoutout to Saki. The boat is beautiful and so relaxing.

What a way to finish out 2025! Beautiful staff- all were so attentive and such a vibe Great vessel Awesome lunch Stunning location My husband and I have visited Fiji a few times and have been to almost all day trips/pontoons/ snorkling with others and Sabre by South Sea Sailing is by far our favourite, will be back again A must visit! Worth every cent

Previous reviews are overrated. Good for families and groups of friends; couples stay away. The ‘reef’ snorkeling was far from impressive, still wondering where the reef was.

Amazing trip! Easy to navigate with the bus pickup/dropoff. The crew was friendly and extremely hospitable, we had an amazing group of guests we met on board and you have a lot of autonomy on how you like to spend your cruise time.

I booked again this tour based on a good experience a couple of years ago. The bus picked us up in our hotel exactly at the agreed time. But we did not sail at 9:45 as planned as some guests boarded late. This should be rectified in the future as reduces the actual time in the water for other passengers. It takes 1h3O to reach destination which is the Malolo sand cay, beautiful but visited by several boats at the same time, which was not what I remember from my previous experience. What is good in this tour is that the snorklling tour is a guided one and therefore safe for nor very experienced clients. This said, experienced ones can perfectly do their ow thing. Based on our experience before and the company advertising narrative, we expected to be taken to another site but to our surprise we stayed at the sand cay some 3h. We made the best of that time that also included (an OK) lunch, but you should choose another tour if looking for a day visit to actual islands. The team was kind, hard working, efficient and charming, playing music and even signing & dancing. It was a fun day out with pleasant sailing and some snorklling/swimming
You have got to do this! Relaxed day with snorkeling, music, dance and great food.

This is a fantastic day out from start to finish. Cannot recommend highly enough. Boat is awesome crew is even better. Food was wonderful and it was a perfect relaxing day out with superb snorkelling to boot.
