Enjoy a memorable wine tasting of 5 medal-winning wines combined with a history tour at the family-owned local winery DiVes!
The tasting is accompanied by appetizers and water:
- Rhodopean trout with a Muscat;
- Vegetables (fresh and dried) from Thrace with a Rosé;
- Bulgarian cheese from Plovdiv region with a Merlot;
- Lukanka (local salami) from Stara Planina Mountain with a Pamid (the oldest Bulgarian wine variety);
- Chocolate sticks with DiVes Sweet wine.
The winery offers a big tasting hall for 50 people and a free bus/car parking.
Our greatest honor has been to be recognized for the high quality of DiVes Estate wines at the most prestigious wine competition globally, Decanter World Wine 2014, with the first time ever Gold Medal awarded to Bulgaria, for our Merlo Barrique Special Selection 2012.

DiVes Winery is located close to the Town of Aheloy and Nesebar. It was built on the historic hill of Simeon’s Mound which has a magnificent view over the Black Sea coast between Aheloy and Pomorie. Here, the Bulgarian king Simeon the Great defeated the Byzantine army in a battle in 917 A.D., thus affirming the power and position of Bulgaria. In honor of Simeon’s victory, we raised a monument named "The Eye of the Winner", which became a symbol for the winery and is invariably depicted on our wine label. The highlights of the Special History and Wine tour are: - The story of the Battle of Aheloy; - A circular walk around the winery; - Basic Wine production techniques; - Combination of 6 excellent wines with 5 Bulgarian appetizers; - Wonderful view over Nesebar, Aheloy, and Pomorie; - Wine shop. *Please get in touch with us for a tour in German. In addition, in June and July, we offer a unique for Bulgaria tour - Aroma Sampling of 5 Bulgarian lavender varieties. We offer free parking for buses, minibusses, and cars. Reservation is needed 24 hours in advance. Please specify if you are vegan or vegetarian when booking. Persons under 18 years old are admitted free of charge.

5.00I really enjoyed the visit to DiVes Winery! Vasilena was very welcoming and the wine tasting was excellent. We were lucky enough to arrive on the first day of harvest and got to see some of the machines in action. And we got to try fresh, unfiltered grape juice from the first press, which was an added bonus. Overall a very interesting and informative tour and good value for the money. I highly recommend taking home some DiVes wine, especially the rosé!

5.00A wonderful experience. We were only two people and still received an excellent tour, with the history of the vineyard’s location and plenty of information about the different wines we tasted. Our host was very friendly. A fantastic experience overall. Great wines, and you can buy them afterwards at the vineyard’s shop (at very reasonable prices). Highly recommended!

5.00A tour of the wine production and a story about the history of the area! It all took about 2.5 hours. It was the owner of the vineyard himself, who made the tour, and there was only me and my partner (only 2pcs) on it, who made it itim. We got after the tour of the place, try a total of 6 different wines to different finger food. All the wines were very good, and it is understandable why they have won awards! After this, you can buy wine at your own point of sale. All in all a pleasant tour in nice surroundings, which is definitely worth the price! It is probably best to be here in June, due to the flowering in the area, but it was also nice in August!

5.00I had the pleasure of attending a wine tasting at Dives Winery yesterday – and I am absolutely thrilled. The whole experience was not only extremely informative, but also very tastefully designed. The wines convinced with their excellent quality and fine nuances, which appeal to both connoisseurs and connoisseurs. I would particularly like to highlight the lady who led the tour: with her pleasant manner, deep expertise and authentic enthusiasm she made the tour very special. A completely successful experience – absolutely recommended for those who love wine and want to learn more about the history and production.

5.00Amazing wine estate! We accidentally went one day earlier than what we had booked and they still went above and beyond to make our tour happen. They got us settled right away and took their time explaining every wine and touring the winery. Everything tasted amazing and was more than we would have expected. Even had time after for a lavender tour! The hosts were also a big help in getting us a taxi back to our hotel for a bargain price.
