I had a wonderful time watching the performance of Rie Asai, a talented Japanese artist, composer, and producer. Her music beautifully blended traditional Japanese sounds with rich historical storytelling, offering a deeper understanding of Japan's culture. A significant part of the performance was dedicated to Japanese history, allowing everyone to learn more about Japan. Additionally, each guest had the opportunity to try playing traditional Japanese instruments. I had the chance to play the song "Sakura Sakura" on the koto, a traditional Japanese string instrument. This experience was both fun and educational, and it deepened my appreciation for Japanese music.

An incredible cultural experience at Nagoya Castle. The traditional Koto and Shamisen performance, especially the story of Amaterasu, was both powerful and moving. Rie Asai’s talent stood out, and the dedication of all the performers—young and old—was truly impressive. A beautiful glimpse into Japan’s rich musical and spiritual heritage.
