Private and exclusive tour, an off of the beaten path activity, the exploration of Hacienda Ébano, a Costa Rican Natural Reserve and Ranch. The customer will experience a 1km / 0.6 mile short hike or a 2.5km / 1.6 miles medium hike through the rainforest, 2 gorgeous waterfalls with natural pools, also stunning mountains and ocean views.
In the trip, the client will have the opportunity to see wildlife, such as birds, frogs, and monkeys, also many types of plants, flowers, and trees. The transportation is in a comfortable and safe 4x4 Safari style Truck - the best tool to travel the 10km / 6.2 miles through the big mountains.
The perfect end is to refresh us and swim in the Jade Waterfall, also enjoy next to the river, a Costa Rican authentic lunch wrapped in banana leaf. All in a small group, with the company of local experienced guides committed with client service.

Hacienda Ebano
HIKING & EBANO WATERFALLS Natural Reserve, short or medium hike in a beautiful path through the Rainforest. We will see five streams and cross 2 bridges, also will have the opportunity to appreciate wildlife such as colorful frogs, birds or monkeys among others (depends on season and animals behavior), also wide biodiversity, such as tropical plants and huge trees. At the end of the trail is the Ebano Waterfalls, a double waterfall hidden in the Rainforest. The first waterfall has a pool of 13 feet / 4 meters deep, it's a huge hole in a one-piece rock, which the water through hundreds of years made it, it's safe for a swim and deep enough to jump from 7 meters / 20 feet. The second waterfall has a wider pool, with a depth from very low to 2 meters / 6 feet, perfect for families with kids.

THE LOOKOUT: Ocean and Mountains views, we will reach it by the safari truck, the Big Mango Lookout is a beautiful spot in the top of the mountain, we will enjoy the view to Punta Dominical Bay, Caño island, Diamante Waterfall, ant the blue mountains.

5.00Perfect individual tour with Juan Carlos into the rainforest with waterfall, swimming, super views from the mountain top and lunch. We have seen various animals and Juan Carlos has explained a lot about the rainforest and environmental protection. We started with a short tour by offroader and then on foot through the jungle. It was just fascinating including waterfalls and swimming in the river pools. At the Mountain Top we had fresh coconut and other fruits and later on we had a delicious lunch in our own restaurant directly at the office. This tour is an insider tip as private and therefore absolutely quiet nature. The tour will start with max. 6 people carried out, there were only two of us. And if you are looking for a great night: the Paradiselodge about 300m from the office is also an absolute recommendation.

5.00We had Cesar as our tour guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. And he kept the tour fun with nice facts and stories. Also, he was very sharp to point out the plants and animals we saw during the safari. And we got jump on two waterfalls! Highly recommend.

5.00Put simply, I highly recommend this tour. The tour guides were very friendly and knowledge about the rainforest. They helped find us animals and helped us get some great pictures/videos. The price was worth it and the lunch at the end of the trip was so tasty. Overall I highly recommend this tour.

5.00I could not have asked for a better experience and private tour. Our guide is passionate and very knowledgeable about the land. We saw red poisionous frogs, a snake, black and green frog, hawk, a stinky plant and so much more. The hikes were easy with breaks for picutres of plants or waterfalls. Our guide took plenty of pictures during our experience and lunch was amazing. Our group talked about the beans until the day we left costa rica. A must do.

5.00This is with out a doubt one of the best excursions I’ve ever been on. It is run by a family who really care about the experience you have. We traveled though the jungle and hiked to several very beautiful waterfalls. They drive us to the top of the mountain where we enjoys coconut, watermelon and bananas. Once back at the house they prepared us a delicious lunch with coffee. Don’t hesitate on this tour it is awesome.

5.00Had an amazing time with César and JC! A group of 7 of us went for my birthday and saw Toucans, frogs, birds and swam in waterfalls. The outlook at the end is beautiful and the lunch they provided was amazing!! JC was so thoughtful and caring throughout the tour, doing his best to make sure we didn’t miss any wildlife/plants along the way and giving detailed descriptions of everything. Great for nature and adventure lovers
