Morning Drive Along the Coast
We head north along the Skeleton Coast, stopping at the haunting Zeila Shipwreck, one of Namibia’s most photographed wrecks.
A short break in Henties Bay for coffee and refreshments before turning inland.
We leave the coastal road behind and travel along a quiet back road into the desert, with wide-open views leading us toward the majestic Spitzkoppe.
Explore Spitzkoppe
Visit the Bushman Rock Paintings, ancient artwork left behind by the San people. Walk to the famous Rock Arch, one of Namibia’s most iconic natural landmarks. Discover the Golden Snake, a striking rock formation that glows under the midday sun.
Picnic Lunch at Spitzkoppe.
Scenic Return via Front Road, with a quick drive through parts of the Moon Landscape for one last taste of Namibia’s otherworldly desert scenery.

5.00We had the best day with our guide Japie who couldn't be more informative and friendly. The scenery is mind blowing. Japie provided us with a delicious lunch including beer, wine (bubbles) and soft drink. M. A. D Travel and Tours are a definite choice if you want excellent service, friendly guides and a great experience. Our thanks go to Michael, Japie and Denise for making our stay in Swakopmund one we will never forget.

5.00We had a bespoke tour for us at short notice to Spitzkoppe which was excellent, efficient and informative. However, what really reflected Namibian hospitality was the flexibility and adjustments that were made specifically for us by our tour guide Jarpi - to ensure we had the best time and got the most out of it.
