Split, “The most beautiful city in the world," as its inhabitants like to say, is more than 1700 years old. Back in the 3rd century, Roman emperor Diocletian decided to build his retirement home here. His palace, UNESCO World Heritage site, and one of the world’s most impressive Roman monuments was a foundation of today`s Split.
Join me on a tour and you will be able to see buildings from Roman times, 3500 year old sphinxes from Egypt, hear stories and legends about the history of Split, and experience a mixture of past and present day in the second largest city in Croatia.

5.00Viktoria was the best tour guide in our whole trip in the cruise, we had so many tour guides from different towns and countries and Viktoria really stood out! She was very knowledgable of all the history of Croatia, and Split of course! She was passionate about it and made history and historic events very interesting and enjoyable even for my young children, that absolutely loved her! She was so kind, joyful, calm, patient and we felt as if we were her friends! Viktoria made us feel so welcomed in her town, and we definently really enjoyed the whole tour, the beautiful places we visited and overall her company! We loved Split because of Viktoria and we cant wait to come back! Her kindness with my children will never be forgotten! We all loved Viktoria! Thank you so much for such a beautiful day! 5.00We asked our concierge for a private historical tour guide for Split. He highly recommended Viktoria. She was extremely knowledgable, and very generous with her time. She was highly flexible in the type of tour she gave us and was able to delve deep into history for my husband and sprinkle in Game of Thrones for me. Viktoria is a wonderful individual, with a warm personality. We highly recommend Viktoria for anyone traveling to Split!

5.00This tour with Viktoria is one of the best tours we’ve ever taken! Her knowledge of Croatian history and the history of Split is extensive and she is a mesmerizing storyteller. She tailored the tour to our interests and shared personal anecdotes to make it even more real. She is fun and funny and warm and we recommend her completely! We really loved the time we spent with her! We now know so much more about this part of the world including special foods and places that are not to be missed. Thank you Viktoria!
