  We arrived on 27th November for the start of our 10 day tour just as the Cyclone was about to do its damage. We met our driver Prasanna at the airport exactly as arranged and were transferred to our first hotel. Unfortunately, the Cyclone disrupted our planned schedule but Prasanna skilfully re-arranged our itinerary. Prasanna maintained a positive and enthusiastic approach to what was essentially a disrupted trip due to the damage caused so many of the areas we had planned to visit. He was never short of ideas as to what else we could do. He saved our trip! Prasanna is also very knowledgeable and answered the numerous questions we had, not only about the areas we visited but also general things about the country. We cannot recommend this organisation enough.

  From our first contact Lanka Safe Tours were excellent. We wanted to do the traditional tour route in reverse order so we could start at a beach resort in Mirissa as we were travelling on to the Maldives. This was not a problem and easily accommodated. Our guide and driver on the tour was Prasanna. Prasa was excellent- knowledgeable and very accommodating to requests and suggestions. His English was great, which made life easier. He was very flexible with the itinerary which was essential to avoid any tropical rain showers so as to get the best from every place we visited. He navigated us safely through the hectic Sri Lankan traffic in his comfortable air conditioned vehicle. Water was provided throughout. He was even prepared to suffer our Spotify playlists via Bluetooth on the vehicle’s tablet. We could also share his WiFi. Both company and driver highly recommended for their 5 star performance! Thank you so much for such an amazing holiday!

  We had a lovely 13-day tour of Sri Lanka. Our driver Milan was very friendly, safe on the road and gave us a lot of interesting information. The hotels were clean and comfortable, the food was always top. The route was varied and we saw a lot – culture, nature, beaches and wildlife. The pace of travel was perfect with small child!   We relied on this agency for our 16-day trip to Sri Lanka and were extremely satisfied. Perfect organization, we changed our mind about a trip we had chosen and the agency was immediately ready to change the program according to our needs. Our driver Dulan was very professional, friendly and available to help us for any eventuality. I highly recommend it.

  We experienced a 12-day tour of Sri Lanka, concluded with 3 days of well-deserved relaxation at the sea. The itinerary was complete and well balanced: from the ancient cities of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa, to Sigiriya Rock, passing through Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, the safari in Yala and the beautiful beaches of the south. Special thanks to our guide KAVISHAN, always kind and prepared, who in addition to the main stops made us discover less touristy and really authentic places. The agency took care of every detail, adapting the trip to our requests and making the experience smooth and pleasant.   We did a 12-day tour of Sri Lanka with 3 final days of relaxing by the sea and the experience was really great! We visited all the major stops (Negombo, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Yala and the south coast) without ever getting bored: every day full of things to do and discover. Special thanks to our guide KAVISHAN, always available, prepared and attentive, who made us visit not only the most famous places but also special places and less touristy, at our request.   As two seasoned world travelers in our 50s, we thought we’d done it all, but our tour of Sri Lanka with Lanka Safe Tours proved us wrong: it was simply stunning and completely hassle-free from start to end. The company, and in particular our driver / adviser, Sampath, made every day action packed and interesting with unsurpassed inside knowledge on the best time to visit sites to avoid peak times and get the all important photo memories. We arrived as clients but Sampath soon made us feel like friends and was always on hand to answer our questions and point us in the right direction whether it was to find the best safari guides, spot a leopard, get the best exchange rate, find a safe ATM or buy a few gifts. We have had the holiday of a lifetime and cannot thank the team at Lanka Safe Tours enough.   My family and I have just completed a 13-night, 14-day tour with Lanka Safe Tours, and I am beyond thankful for such an unforgettable and amazing experience! Traveling overseas for the first time was quite daunting, but my worries were quickly put at ease once we met our wonderful guide, Kavi, and started visiting some incredible sites. We experienced such a wide variety of things—historical, cultural, religious landmarks, and many beautiful natural landscapes—and enjoyed it all! The safari in Minneriya National Park and seeing so many elephants in their natural habitat was mind-blowing and so much fun! Every step of the way, Kavi was friendly, caring, and professional. His passion for showcasing Sri Lanka is evident, and his knowledge of everything was incredible! He constantly shared extra information about the places we visited and answered countless questions. He was flexible with adding in bits and pieces along the way and always made sure we were having the best time. Most importantly, he made the trip extra special for our kids by making things fun and going above and beyond to take great care of them and make them feel safe. They definitely look up to him as a role model and a friend and will miss him heaps ❤️. Everywhere we stayed was so welcoming, and the hospitality was exceptional. We were always greeted with friendly smiles, treated with warmth and kindness, and served delicious food! We feel extremely lucky to have chosen this beautiful country for our first overseas trip 🇱🇰 Our family will certainly cherish some incredible and long-lasting memories, and we would highly recommend Lanka Safe Tours and Kavi to anyone!   My family and i just completed a 14 day 13 night tour with Lanka Safe Tours, and we can’t explain how grateful we are to have experienced this. Personally, we went into this tour not knowing what to expect as we have never been overseas before, and I felt a bit hesitant, but this trip has been an awesome experience. Traveling to Sri Lanka opened our eyes to many new things that we don’t get at home, and it’s been a great learning experience. This tour couldn’t have been as great as it was without our amazing tour guide, Kavi. He put so much time and effort into making sure we were happy with our experiences and ensuring we were safe and well looked after. He showed so much care for my siblings and I by always looking after us, he was always in a bright and cheery mood, and always made sure we had an understanding of what we were learning about and where we were going. He made each experience fun and knows how to have a joke. We would without a doubt recommend Kavi as a tour guide to anyone that is traveling with Lanka Safe Tours, as he made this experience unforgettable.
