  Kalum was amazing. The kindest most friendly and warm guide we have ever had. Nothing was too much trouble and he made sure everything on our trip was as good as possible - we can’t thank him enough for introducing our family to the joys of Sri Lanka and looking after us so well!

  We went to Hurulu Safari with a group of friends and had an unforgettable adventure together. The driver was very cheerful, experienced, and knew exactly where to take us for the best wildlife sightings. During the safari, we saw many wild elephants roaming freely, along with peacocks and several rare birds. The ride through the forest was peaceful, exciting, and full of beautiful natural views. The driver made the experience even better by giving us interesting information about the animals and stopping at great spots for photos. The jeep was clean and comfortable, and the entire safari was well planned and enjoyable from beginning to end. We truly had an amazing time and would highly recommend this safari to anyone visiting Sri Lanka with friends.

  Hurulu Safari was one of the best wildlife experiences we had during our Sri Lanka trip. The driver was very polite, experienced, and excellent at spotting animals inside the park. We saw many wild elephants, peacocks, and several beautiful birds while enjoying the peaceful nature around us. The safari ride was comfortable and enjoyable because the driver carefully explained everything and never rushed the tour. He also stopped at perfect places so we could take great photos and fully enjoy the scenery. Everything was well arranged from start to finish, and the whole experience felt safe, exciting, and memorable. Highly recommended for nature and wildlife lovers.

  We visited Hurulu Safari with friends and had an excellent experience throughout the tour. The driver was very skilled, friendly, and knew the best places to spot elephants and other wildlife. We saw many elephants very closely and enjoyed the beautiful natural surroundings during the safari ride. The jeep was comfortable, and the driver made the journey fun and relaxing for everyone. He also gave us enough time to take photos and enjoy the experience properly. The safari was well organized, exciting, and definitely worth it.   We had a really great experience at Hurulu Safari and enjoyed the whole tour from start to finish. The driver was very friendly, punctual, and had excellent knowledge about the park and wildlife. We were able to see many wild elephants very closely, along with beautiful birds and amazing natural views. The safari ride was smooth and comfortable, and we never felt rushed during the journey. The driver also stopped at the best spots for photos and explained everything clearly. Everything was well organized, and the service was excellent throughout the tour.   Our Hurulu Safari tour was such a beautiful and peaceful experience. The driver was very kind and experienced, making the whole journey comfortable and enjoyable from beginning to end. We were lucky to see many wild elephants and stunning natural scenery during the safari. The calm atmosphere and relaxing ride made it extra special for us. Everything was well organized, and the driver made sure we had enough time to enjoy every moment and take photos. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sri Lanka.

  We love Kalum. What started out as a booking for an elephant safari (which was brilliant) ended up being a two week tour of central Sri Lanka. I think we will remember our trip with Kalum forever- by the end he had become family. I cried when we said goodbye. His kindness, his enthusiasm, his openness was more than we could have hoped for. We laughed, we had big conversations about culture and customs, and he taught my husband to take a good photo - so after 20 years together, I finally have a nice holiday picture. To anyone thinking of booking his elephant tour- book it. It was one of the most special experiences that we have ever had. But also, if you are looking for a guide for a longer trip Kalum is your person.

  

  

  

  

• Favorite activity in Sri Lanka

  This was by far the BEST activity we experienced in Sri Lanka. Kalum had a brand new vehicle and was the most knowledgeable guide at the park. He pointed out lots of other animals besides the elephants. He was great at positioning us to get the best vantage point and also took great photos. Highly recommend!

  We were forwarded Kalum's details for his jeep safari from our driver and he came highly recommended. We had a brilliant morning despite the weather! Kalum's communication was fantastic and he made the experience very enjoyable. It was clear he loves the animals and through his good instincts he found elephants away from the crowds at a respectable distance. We couldn't have asked for a better guide.
