  We love Kalum. What started out as a booking for an elephant safari (which was brilliant) ended up being a two week tour of central Sri Lanka. I think we will remember our trip with Kalum forever- by the end he had become family. I cried when we said goodbye. His kindness, his enthusiasm, his openness was more than we could have hoped for. We laughed, we had big conversations about culture and customs, and he taught my husband to take a good photo - so after 20 years together, I finally have a nice holiday picture. To anyone thinking of booking his elephant tour- book it. It was one of the most special experiences that we have ever had. But also, if you are looking for a guide for a longer trip Kalum is your person.

  This was by far the BEST activity we experienced in Sri Lanka. Kalum had a brand new vehicle and was the most knowledgeable guide at the park. He pointed out lots of other animals besides the elephants. He was great at positioning us to get the best vantage point and also took great photos. Highly recommend!

  We were forwarded Kalum's details for his jeep safari from our driver and he came highly recommended. We had a brilliant morning despite the weather! Kalum's communication was fantastic and he made the experience very enjoyable. It was clear he loves the animals and through his good instincts he found elephants away from the crowds at a respectable distance. We couldn't have asked for a better guide.

  We booked a safari with Kelum Jeep Safari and my guest was very satisfied with the service. The jeep was comfortable, the driver was friendly and the whole experience was well organized. It was a memorable safari and we truly appreciate the excellent service provided. Highly recommended!

  All communication on Whatapp was efficient. Our jeep was comfortable. Our driver not only gave us great info about elephants, but also was a pro at anticipating the movements of the elephants and getting us parked in prime locations. We saw 87 elephants over the 2.5 hours we were in the park. He even stopped and pointed out some monkeys along the road on the way back. I was very happy with Kalum tours service.

  We booked Kalum over What’s App. He was honest and easy to deal with. All commitments were followed through. We had a wonderful afternoon in Minneriya with Kalum and his driver. We saw 60 elephants plus other animals all at a safe , respectful distance. We also booked a trip to Polonnaruwa and a transfer to Kandy with Kalum’s company. All were paid by credit card. The guides , drivers and vehicles were excellent. Could not recommend this company highly enough.

  We did the safari with Kalum and that was the best experience in our tour . There ware plenty of jeeps around and Kalum drove away from the crowd and saw us all the animals even the little camelions that very difficult to find.. 5* out of 5*

  We had a superb experience at Minneriya park with Kalum Jeep Safari. First of all, they knew which park to select, because there are 4 parks in this area, and the elephants are migrating according to the seasons, and where the water is. The driver was very kind and pleasant. We saw hundreds of elephants, and a few other animals, thousands of birds, etc. We took the normal quality jeep (not luxury, but it was already luxury for us! I strongly recommend their service!

  We had an amazing time at Minneriya with Thoshan. Counted at least 70 elephants in different spots. Thoshan also spotted a range of other wildlife for us including amazing birdlife, different types of monkeys and 2 jackal. I’m not entirely sure how he managed to 4wd as well as spot tiny birds out of the corner of his eye! He always managed to position the jeep in a good spot for us, weaving through others. Definitely recommend, we enjoyed this safari much more than yala.
