Diving is fun, and this Open Water Diver course is your first step to become an independent diver. The course includes theory part with SSI materials (e-learning, watching movies, discussing with Instructor), 6 dives in the sea with complete equipment, SSI test, OWD international certificate AND T-SHIRT AS A GIFT.
The courses starts every Monday and Thursday (or required dates) at 10.00 am and it takes 3 to 6 days, 4 to 6 hours every day to complete the course.

All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

Course takes three days to finish. Through those 3 days you will have 6 dives (water sessions). Every day morning session starts at 10:00 and ends around 12:30, after which there is a break till 15:00 when the second session of the day starts. This one ends around 17:30. First 5 dives are done on our House reef, while the 6th dive is a boat fun dive (this is not part of the course, it is just free of charge fun dive). Theory is done independently, through e-learning. You can do this on your phone, tablet, laptop,.... There are 6 chapters, after every chapter there is a small quiz you do on your own, while the final exam is done at the end of the course, here with us.

OWD course is your first step to become an independent diver.It takes 3 to 4 days and consist of theory part, 5 dives in the sea with Instructor, test exam and PADI or SSI OWD certificate.

5.00I decided to do my first solo holiday and a try dive would be the perfect adventure. I fell in love and had to book a course! So my solo holiday became a dive holiday which made it the best kind of holiday! I was made at home with the dive centre, so friendly and willing with advice making you feel at ease! I’ve since used the skills I learned on the course on another dive in a centre in Fuerteventura. I miss this centre so much I plan to book a trip again next year either to fill with dives or to further my education on another course! If I should say WHEN you book here you will not be disappointed! Beautiful part of the ocean.

5.00For this three-day course, Marin is my instructor. He is super kind and reliable throughout the process. He definitely looked after as his buddy. Diving is a great experience and I will certainly dive more and more in the future. I wish all the best to Orca Diving Centre and would love to come back one day!

5.00My brother and I both did a “try scuba diving” course, and we had a blast! This staff at this place are super friendly and helpful and speak English. My brother and I enjoyed our time there so much, we also decided to pursue our diving certification for up to 12m. Our instructor Sergei was super nice and friendly. He was very patient and helpful with our group, and made the experience so much fun! I truly would recommend everyone to go here, and ask for him as he’s the best instructor I have ever had. This place is awesome! And there is a restaurant above Incase you are hungry.

5.00It is the first time I have a scuba diving lesson and experience at Dahab. I spend 5 days learning OW and AOW. I found out every staff very kind and energetic and system of ORCA is well organized Learning from Adawy, It was really good time. Truly recommend you to learn at ORCA

5.00I took the PADI Open Water Diver Course at Orca Diving Centre. I found the course was well organised and the team were good at adapting the course to our needs and schedule. Everyone at Orca was also very friendly and welcoming. I could tell that my instructor, Matt, was both very knowledgeable and very passionate about diving. He was an understanding instructor and was happy to go back over the exercises if there were parts I didn’t understand. We did the open water dives on Orca’s house reef and Matt showed me round a number of really cool spots whilst we were out. Aside from doing the required skills to meet the PADI certification, he also passed on useful practical guidance to help me in my future diving career. Overall, I would definitely recommend Orca to anyone looking to take a course or to try diving!
