This one of a kind excursion to Jost Van Dyke allows passengers to spend the most time on the island out of all other group charters.
After checking in at the Westin on St John, guests board our 55′ catamaran for a truly extraordinary day. A light continental style breakfast as we cruise on the North Shore of St. John to enjoy a morning snorkel off one of the many coral reefs surrounding the island. After the snorkel stop, the boat continues on to Great Harbor to clear into customs.
After customs we make our way to White Bay, just a few minutes away and home to the Soggy Dollar Bar and one of the finest beaches on the planet!
Guests 18+ can try a world-famous “Painkiller” cocktail, all can play the Ring Toss game, relax in a hammock, or swim and snorkel in the turquoise waters. Then, guests 18+ enjoy happy hour aboard as we head back to St. John with a full open bar, returning after clearing US Customs in Cruz Bay.

5.00Great boat and crew! They had everything we needed on board, and took us out to one of the best spots to snorkel! We then made our way over to Soggy Dollar with a very attentive staff making sure our libations were met. Our captain took us right up to the beach where we walked down the ladder right on to the sandy shore. I’d highly recommend this boat and crew, and look forward to coming back soon!

5.00Awesome day on the water with an awesome crew , stopped at a private islands coral reef , then onto Jost Van Dyke - the bar opened as soon as snorkeling ended , learned some interesting historical facts about the Virgin Islands enroute . Then plenty of painkillers at the world famous Soggy Dollar Bar

5.00This was a wonderful trip from beginning to end. Captain Brent accompanied by Eric and Alisha (sorry if spelt wrong) did a fine job even avoiding most of the rain around us. We started with a light breakfast as we left the Westin dock. Round to by Caneel bay for snorkeling. Saw 4 turtles and 3 ray’s including a spotted eagle! Then over to White bay for customs and onto JVD beach. Shopping and lunch at Hendos and a sail back. Truly enjoyed it. Thanks

5.00After chartering a small boat for several years from St. John to explore BVI on our own, about 5 years ago we instead opted to take the Cruz Bay Watersports day sail to Jost Van Dyke. Located on the grounds of the Westin St. John, the day was a magnificent, delightful day from start to finish. The boat is a spacious dual-hulled catamaran, well-maintained, with a friendly and attentive crew who continually make the rounds to offer (included) alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to lounging guests. They readily mingle with guests to answer questions, and are 100% committed to guests having the best day possible. The day is basically simple, a morning 1 hour snorkel stop at a destination off st john or not far away. Then a long stop at Soggy Dollar bar, on a picture perfect beach, with good food, a stocked bar and reasonable prices. A busy gift shop offers a wide variety of tshirts, caps, and Soggy dollar mugs, flags, etc. Our 4 year old grandson snorkeled for the first time in these warm calm waters, saw his first sea turtle and reef reef, and the captain allowed him to steer the boat for a few minutes. Always the highlight of our St John trip, i cannot say enough great things about the crew and onland staff at Cruz Bay watersports. Thank you all.

5.00We took the full day trip to Jost Van Dyke - British Virgin Islands from the Westin on St. John. The captain and crew were professional and attentive--safety first and keeping drinks full a close second! It's an early morning, but you are welcomed aboard with a light breakfast. We enjoyed wonderful snorkeling on the way out seeing a turtle and sting rays along with a variety of fish. You get plenty of time at Soggy Dollar to enjoy drinks, snacks/lunch and beach time. The only downside was that we had to sail back to St. John. They made customs a smooth process as well. A must do excursion is you are staying on St. John!

5.00My family and I did both a private day charter and the discover Jost Van Dyke excursion on separate days during our recent trip to St. John. We were so impressed by Dontre, Eddie, and the rest of the team during our private day charter that we decided to come back a few days later for this second cruise. Cruz Bay Watersports is the real deal. The people are great, the experiences are great, the boats are clean and gorgeous, and the prices are totally reasonable. If you visit the VI and you don't book an excursion with these guys, you're really missing out. 10/10 would lime again.

5.00This is our 4th time using Cruz Bay sports and the crew did not disappoint! The crew ( Capt Brent, Alexi and Dan) were super friendly and very helpful with whatever you need . TY for making our day even better! A few things to know: 1. Towels are provided no need to bring your own. 2. Breakfast is continental and was just enough to start your day. 3. Snorkeling is about 30mins into the trip, we went to Scott beach in St.John. The snorkeling was good. 4. Bar is open after snorkeling!! 5. Spend about 3 hrs at soggy dollar and then a beautiful ride back to St.John. 6. The crew takes care of everything for you at customs . 7. We found that it was well worth the extra $$ to not have any worries. I would recommend this trip and plan on taking it again in the future!! Thank You from the Gaulin Family!!
