As you journey West from Basseterre, your guide will show you how the recent history and present day reality, coexist with ease on the island. Passing the Cenotaph - a memorial to St Kitts' sons who served in both of the World Wars - you will see the Fort lands area, a garrison, that now houses elegant restaurants, a boutique hotel, private homes, foreign embassies and other diplomatic outposts. In the heart of Basseterre you will see the former slave market (originally known as Pall Mall Square and now known as Independence Square) surrounded by some of the best preserved British and French colonial architecture in the entire Caribbean. Smiling Kenny will also explain to you the significance of the Berkeley Memorial and point out the St. Kitts National Museum, mere minutes away.

To have a 360 degree experience of St Kitts and discover the jewel of the Caribbean from a natural, cultural, historical and contemporary standpoint. In the heart of Basseterre you will see the former slave market surrounded by some of the best preserved British and French colonial architecture in the entire Caribbean. As you journey West from Basseterre, you will pass the Cenotaph - a memorial to St Kitts' sons who served in both of the World Wars. Next you will visit the Fort lands area, previously home to a garrison that now houses elegant restaurants, a boutique hotel, private homes, foreign embassies and other diplomatic outposts. Progressing further west you will see the national hospital, local Coca-Cola bottling company, a uniquely positioned nest of egrets and two off-shore universities, Then you will visit the site of St. Kitts' bloodiest massacre Bloody Point. Next you will go through the pristine rainforest where you will amble along the verdant paths of the river trail as your guide gives you an illustrative overview of the flora and fauna found there. Following that, you will take a trip to the home of the local batik handicraft facility. Since 1974, the skilled artisans at Caribelle Batik have worked diligently to produce distinctive clothing designs by employing this ancient art form. The rest of Romney Manor boasts botanical delights overflowing from the nearby Wingfield rainforest onto the 12 acres of this immaculately maintained property. Carib petroglyphs can be found at the entrance to the Wingfield estate. Moving onward, you will drive through Middle Island - home of the first Anglican church on St Kitts and the burial site of English explorer and settler Sir Thomas Warner, before passing by Brimstone Hill - the Gibraltar of the West Indies and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Next visit Black Rocks, the site where massive boulders were deposited by the last volcanic eruption. Refreshments are served at this point while visitors take photos of the area. As you make your way to the end point of this incredible journey through picture perfect paradise, you will be driven through one of the more affluent and recently developed areas of St Kitts - Frigate Bay. After that you'll make your way to the crest of Timothy Hill on the Southeast peninsula, where you can behold the breathtaking views of the sister island of Nevis - bordered by the Caribbean Sea, as well as the stunning sight of the energetic Atlantic Ocean, on both sides of the peninsula. Finally, on either South Friar's or Cockleshell beach you can participate at your leisure in a variety of beachfront activities including but not limited to horseback riding, aquatic sports, jet skiing, the children's trampoline and more. Or, you just might prefer to put the ultimate finishing touches to your amazing Kittitian excursion by having a rejuvenating holistic massage.

We booked outside of our Royal Caribbean Cruise Line because we, my wife & I, wanted to experience as much as we could in the time frame we had while being docked. Captain Sunshine Tours went ABOVE and BEYOND to accommodate our personal made itinerary which was 4 hrs driving ALL around St.Kitts visiting ALL the popular landmarks AND took us to unknown resident spots that had gorgeous views and then 3hrs on a 2 person dune buggy all through the different island trails. Our guide Jimmy, I think his name was, was the MOST informative patient guide we had EVER had on a tour (we took a lot of pictures everywhere). The fact that we dealt with one company that was able to pull everything together was perfect because we saved time having to go to different tour excursions and cheaper than paying for each excursion separately. Kenny, was very responsive from start to finish. He kept in touch with us as we got closer to our cruise, our guide was on time picking us up and bringing us back to the port, and we felt like he was excited and proud to show us around his home island. He taught us SO much about native life on the island! We love making up our own itinerary and Captain Sunshine Tours was the best decision and worth every dollar! We would recommend them to everyone!

We left the harbor and soon we were offered a tour of the island with this company. The price was good for the sights that took us, the driver was efficient and helpful. When we were arriving at the viewpoint to see the island, intense rain began, even so the tour schedule was met. The audio was not very good, yet it was very good, I was delighted with the island. Thank you Guti.

I booked a 360 Island Tour with Captain Sunshine over the summer for a tour in August. He came highly recommended from a friend. When we got to the island, we were greeting by Kenny and his nephew. When we got into the van, he told us it was $300 per person cash. I told him I thought I reserved with a credit card online. And he said, no one takes credit cards on the island. So I gave him basically all the money I was carrying which left us nothing to spend on the island. His nephew offered us time and time again to stop at the ATM to get more cash but we declined. When I got back from the cruise, I checked my credit card statement and we did reserve with a credit card. I tried sending Kenny an email but he did not respond. So I filed a dispute with the credit card company but unfortunately I lost since I could not prove that I paid him in person. This was so sad and frustrating because I really wanted to like and promote his business but I can't because what he did was wrong. Please don't be scammed by him.

Very disappointed because most of the tour was skipped by tour guide. We feel we were cheated on what was promised & what we paid. We would like refund. The tour did not 1) walk through lush jungle. 2). Did not visit Brinstone Hill fortress. 3). Did not visit Romney manor 4). Did not visit Frigate bay 5). Did not see colonial architecture. 6). Did not visit former slave market 7). Did not visit Batik facility 8). Tour claimed it was 5 hours but was only 3-1/2 hours. When I brought this to the attention of your guide, he was rude & said to take it up with viator. In addition your guide was half hour late meeting us at the pier. Please issue refund Thank you

Booked in port after speaking to a lovely couple who were promoting the tour. The weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t stop everywhere which wasn’t the drivers fault. However the driver was very difficult to hear as the speaker system was poor. The information given was not as interesting as other tours we’ve been on and we felt that the driver lacked personality and didn’t interact with the passengers. Sadly not a recommended trip

Arrived at the port and greeted by the Captain Sunshine team . Gave a full and varied tour of the island . Happy to add in a beach stop too ! Good value for money

Everything was great on our tour we stopped at several places to take pictures and we spoke to locals and even held a monkey! We learned a lot about st kitts history.

We had the absolute please of meeting Kenny. He was warm and welcoming. He was an excellent guide and very patient with all the different nationalities on the tour. It was reasonably priced and I felt I had seen the island. He made a detour so I could find an ATM. Wishing you every success Kenny with your studies. Kind regards Aoife from 🇮🇪

We have had island tours in the past, but this one stands out. Janeel Boon was engaging, informative and just fun to be with. He was flexible in allowing us to go off the beaten path and see other sights. Kenny was great in arranging this trip for us, based on our requests. Thank you Captain Sunshine!
