As you journey West from Basseterre, your guide will show you how the recent history and present day reality, coexist with ease on the island. Passing the Cenotaph - a memorial to St Kitts' sons who served in both of the World Wars - you will see the Fort lands area, a garrison, that now houses elegant restaurants, a boutique hotel, private homes, foreign embassies and other diplomatic outposts. In the heart of Basseterre you will see the former slave market (originally known as Pall Mall Square and now known as Independence Square) surrounded by some of the best preserved British and French colonial architecture in the entire Caribbean. Smiling Kenny will also explain to you the significance of the Berkeley Memorial and point out the St. Kitts National Museum, mere minutes away.

2.00We were looking for a tour of the island with a stop to Romney Manor, that was the principal goal of our day. The lady offered us a 360 tour of the island with stops at other spots on top of the Manor. She said the tour would last around 3 hours, including a 30 minute stop at the Manor (or more if the group was willing). We ended up doing a 180 tour with NO stop at Rodney Manor. The tour lasted a little less than 2 hours. The driver said he didn't know he had to stop at the Manor and didn't have time to go back, his day was over. We were very disappointed because that was not what we wanted nor what we agreed on. Very dishonest.

5.00We had a fun tour with the driver Tristan. He was funny and entertaining. He knew his island and shared it with us. The music was good. We recommend him 100%.

5.00We booked outside of our Royal Caribbean Cruise Line because we, my wife & I, wanted to experience as much as we could in the time frame we had while being docked. Captain Sunshine Tours went ABOVE and BEYOND to accommodate our personal made itinerary which was 4 hrs driving ALL around St.Kitts visiting ALL the popular landmarks AND took us to unknown resident spots that had gorgeous views and then 3hrs on a 2 person dune buggy all through the different island trails. Our guide Jimmy, I think his name was, was the MOST informative patient guide we had EVER had on a tour (we took a lot of pictures everywhere). The fact that we dealt with one company that was able to pull everything together was perfect because we saved time having to go to different tour excursions and cheaper than paying for each excursion separately. Kenny, was very responsive from start to finish. He kept in touch with us as we got closer to our cruise, our guide was on time picking us up and bringing us back to the port, and we felt like he was excited and proud to show us around his home island. He taught us SO much about native life on the island! We love making up our own itinerary and Captain Sunshine Tours was the best decision and worth every dollar! We would recommend them to everyone!

5.00We left the harbor and soon we were offered a tour of the island with this company. The price was good for the sights that took us, the driver was efficient and helpful. When we were arriving at the viewpoint to see the island, intense rain began, even so the tour schedule was met. The audio was not very good, yet it was very good, I was delighted with the island. Thank you Guti.

1.00I booked a 360 Island Tour with Captain Sunshine over the summer for a tour in August. He came highly recommended from a friend. When we got to the island, we were greeting by Kenny and his nephew. When we got into the van, he told us it was $300 per person cash. I told him I thought I reserved with a credit card online. And he said, no one takes credit cards on the island. So I gave him basically all the money I was carrying which left us nothing to spend on the island. His nephew offered us time and time again to stop at the ATM to get more cash but we declined. When I got back from the cruise, I checked my credit card statement and we did reserve with a credit card. I tried sending Kenny an email but he did not respond. So I filed a dispute with the credit card company but unfortunately I lost since I could not prove that I paid him in person. This was so sad and frustrating because I really wanted to like and promote his business but I can't because what he did was wrong. Please don't be scammed by him.

1.00Very disappointed because most of the tour was skipped by tour guide. We feel we were cheated on what was promised & what we paid. We would like refund. The tour did not 1) walk through lush jungle. 2). Did not visit Brinstone Hill fortress. 3). Did not visit Romney manor 4). Did not visit Frigate bay 5). Did not see colonial architecture. 6). Did not visit former slave market 7). Did not visit Batik facility 8). Tour claimed it was 5 hours but was only 3-1/2 hours. When I brought this to the attention of your guide, he was rude & said to take it up with viator. In addition your guide was half hour late meeting us at the pier. Please issue refund Thank you

3.00Booked in port after speaking to a lovely couple who were promoting the tour. The weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t stop everywhere which wasn’t the drivers fault. However the driver was very difficult to hear as the speaker system was poor. The information given was not as interesting as other tours we’ve been on and we felt that the driver lacked personality and didn’t interact with the passengers. Sadly not a recommended trip

4.00Everything was great on our tour we stopped at several places to take pictures and we spoke to locals and even held a monkey! We learned a lot about st kitts history.
