With its lush and picturesque natural flora and fauna, this half-day rainforest tour will captivate you with its pristine steams, follow your guide as he takes you further into this protected rainforest adventure. Journey to Wingfield Estate, Old Road via an open Safari truck and enjoy the historic village of Old Road where Sir Thomas Warner, along with his family and 14 others, began the first permanent European settlement in the Leeward Islands. On your way to the forest you will see a number of interesting Carib petroglyphs and also Wingfield Estate which is one of the oldest plantations on the island and also the gateway to the rain forest. Enjoy the warm cool tropical breeze amidst the lush tropical forest as we journey along the Peter Manning Trail.
Fresh local fruits, drink and snack will be served after the tour.

Monkeys, hiking, and banana bread!

5.00We had the best experience with Zidan! I’m pregnant and the hike was very doable. He was incredibly knowledgeable and funny. We saw monkeys and fried almonds straight from the shell. The homemade banana bread and passion fruit juice at the end was delicious. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who wants a break from hanging by the pool.

5.00David picked us up at our hotel and drove us to his son Kasim. They were both very friendly and knowable of the area. Before the hike begins Kasim offers you water and a walking stick. It really came in handy on the walk. We had a great hike through the rainforest. He pointed out countless plants, fruits, nuts, etc, and for each he had a homeopathic use for the leaf, bark, root, fruit or nut. He knew all the local history and told great stories about his childhood growing up with the rainforest in his backyard. After the tour his dad met us and gave us a nice ice cold guava drink (an optional shot of run) and homemade banana bread and chips. This has been one of the best tours we have taken.

5.00Our rainforest hike was such a great experience! Our guide was knowledgeable and personable (he said he grew up playing in the rainforest and his love for it really showed). He was great with both of our kids. We were able to hike a bit more of a challenging route because of our small group, and it really made it the highlight of our trip. I can’t recommend this tour enough. We were able to arrange pickup from and drop off to the Park Hyatt for a really reasonable price!

5.00We had an absolutely incredible experience on this tour, with our guide Adrian (AG! Bugsy!) . My sisters and I went on a cruise and were in St. Kitts for the day and did this excursion. We are mid 40s-mid 50s. It ended up being fully private as we were the only ones there. It had poured that morning so we started completely drenched and it just added to the adventure. Adrian was an absolute gem. He was a wonderful human being, passionate about his country, his lifestyle, his family. He was truly incredible. The hike was moderate the entire time - parts that were more difficult having to use ropes to climb up/down but overall not too bad at all. Worst part was that the rain causes everything to be wet so things were slippery at times even with appropriate shoes. Would highly recommend and ask for Adrian!!! You’ll have an amazing experience. Dress appropriately for the day!

5.00A great tour of the local rainforest! Our guide was very knowledgable about the local flora and fauna, having grown up in the area we traveled. The hike was not hard, very easy for all! Highly recommend for families!
