Basseterre
On the way to the first stop, we drive through Basseterre, the capital of Saint Kitts. There will be views of some of the oldest buildings in Basseterre including Berkeley Memorial (home of the circus), Independence Square (Previously known as Pal Mal Square), Co-Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, St. George's Anglican Church, The National Museum, and Her Majesty’s Prison.

5.00We had a fantastic private tour of St. Kitts which lasted over four hours. Our tour guide, Dijon, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He picked us up at the port and took us to many beautiful locations around the island . We learned quite a bit about the history of St. Kitts and Dijon will customize the tour to meet your needs. I would highly recommend taking a tour with Dijon and you won't be disappointed!

3.00Unfortunately the tour fell short of our expectations and description. The tour was rushed, consolidated into three hours, and the driver was not an experienced guide, but rather a driver. Brimstone National Park was the highlight, and you should spend 45 minutes and try to spend lunch in the onsite restaurant. Do not let the driver drop you at the Reggae Beach Bar near the water taxi. This was supposed to be a private tour, but was an old van and a novice driver and it missed the mark.
Fabulous day with Dijon, a lovely, knowledgeable guide who is passionate about his home.

5.00What a fabulous trip !! Dijon ensured that we had the most fabulous day discovering his beautiful island. We experienced all the places I had researched before hand. Whilst it was a busy day ( lots of people on trips) Dijon navigated us around in such a way that we seemed to loose the crowds. He was very knowledgeable about the island's history, flora and fauna. 5.00Wonderful personal tour around beautiful St Kitts! You will enjoy learning about the island, Dejourne is a wonderful guide and host. You will feel like family. He accommodated our bigger group and our request to find passion fruit juice. 2 optional stops include a botanical garden for $3/adult which we enjoyed very much. And a fort which is $15/person extra. We didn’t bring enough cash for that stop. The beach stop was beautiful as well. We should have asked for his restaurant recommendation, the place we chose to eat at was ok.

5.00It was so wonderful. We did a full circle around the island and saw all the sites. It took 5.5 hours and we did not go the beach. If you want to add the beach, make sure to let the driver know so he can make adjustments. It was truly a local tour by a local. We loved it. It was our family's favorite excursion on the trip.
