5.00Fantastic tour - our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and offered a bunch of unique information about St. Lucia. Lots of driving if you’re staying in the north of the island, but that’s a given since it takes awhile to go from the north to the areas we toured.

4.00We had a great experience on this excursion, and our driver Smalley was truly fantastic—warm, knowledgeable, and made the long day much more enjoyable. The stops themselves were beautiful, and the time spent near the Pitons was amazing. That said, I highly recommend this tour only if you're staying on the south side of the island. We were up north at the Royalton, and the reviews are absolutely right—the drive is long and very winding. It took about 2 hours to get there and over 2 hours to return, especially during rush hour traffic. You’ll get about 3 hours of actual activity and the rest of your day will be spent in the van. If I could do it again, I’d choose the catamaran/water-based version of the tour to avoid the roads entirely and enjoy the coastline en route to the Pitons. Still, Smalley made the day worth it, and we’re glad we got to see that stunning part of the island!
