Beware of Sea Urchins

Experience was ruined because they did not inform us not to stand on or near the rocks and members of our group were stung by sea urchins. According to the other guides, we should have been warned. The other guides rendered aid while Edmund Tours did not. Do not use them. Also the lunch wasn’t very appetizing and full of bugs. Do a Land and Sea tour just use another guide group.

Book this trip! You won’t regret it. So many fun activities packed into one day… boat, snorkeling, mud baths, waterfall, lunch, and more. Sugar Beach was breathtaking. Laura was so knowledgeable and Winston was an incredible driver. Got us back to the ship in plenty of time even when the ship’s excursions were late due to a traffic jam. Amazing experience!

Was picked up on time , the host and driver were brilliant, nice driving missing the pop holes , sugerbeach was great , the mud baths and the waterfall was out of this world, the food and drinks were great

Best thing we did on island, a little rushed but saw a lot quickly - great tour guide and food and snorkeling was quite nice. Time on bus for northern resorts but we were coming from Marigot bay which made it easier

This is the second time I've done the land and sea tour. It was a bad start. We arrived at 8.15 for a 8.30 pick up. After lots of stress and worry, without apology our driver/guide Smallee picked us up over 45 minutes late. The minibus was already full, so me and my husband were initially separated at different ends of the bus. Even worse, on a later pickup, a couple had to sit on fold down seats on the aisle. I think the company were too greedy in overfilling the bus. Despite a bad start, and despite the inclimate weather, every other stop lived up to the promise. Smaller was a careful and kind driver/guide. The lunch was a simple but tasty offer. The offer of drinks happened periodically throughout the day. The speedboat to sugar beach was exciting. There were more than 100 people from Edmund tours crammed onto a tiny corner of sugar beach. However drinks and snorkeling equipment were available. I've been on this trip previously with Cosol tours, and he was much better. If only because I recall his tour group being half the size and less squashy.

The best parts of this excursion were the boat ride, snorkeling, lunch and the guide. We saw many different kinds of fish and the lunch was delicious. The waterfall was pretty, but there were too many people there to enjoy it. The mud baths were also very crowded. Be prepared for a long, windy ride to the other side of the island, but with some beautiful views.

It was a great full day tour! We got to see the whole island; the pitons, waterfall, mud baths and went snorkelling at Sugar Beach. They served us a delicious local lunch and had lots of rum punch up for grabs as well!

The places to see as far as the tour included were all worth seeing. The tour guide was spectacular and very well informed. She answered all questions thoughtfully. Supporting staff were excellent and helpful. Our driver was a true wonder on the roads of St. Lucia. Those you must experience to understand! We definitely feel we got our monies worth!
A Taste of St. Lucia

A basic introduction to St. Lucia. We and another couple from a resort were taken on a short trip by boat. We stopped briefly to visit a bat cave which I found very interesting. We docked at Sugar Beach which is considered one of the best beaches on the island. I found it small and no comparison to Marigot on the other side of St. Lucia. Lunch was provided next and it was delicious! Our last stop was the volcano and sulphur springs where you could- if you so opted- paint yourself with mud and then wash off in the mineral springs. We opted not to do so! It was an enjoyable day and a good introduction to a first time visitor to St. Lucia. For a more an-indepth visit to the island, you will have to look elsewhere!
