Each adventure begins in this restored plantation house originally built in the 1700s. The Museum tells the powerful story of Trace Wilson who was born into slavery on the property in 1818 and her direct descendant Emilio Wilson. You will see depictions of what life was like on a plantation and learn about the customs, traditions, lifestyle, and stories that earned Sint Maarten the nickname ‘The Friendly Island.’
After a brief orientation, embark on the Sky Explorer for the approximately 25-minute ride to the top of Sentry Hill, St. Maarten’s highest elevation at 1,125 feet. A series of platforms encircle the mountaintop showcasing 360-degree views of the whole island including vistas of neighboring islands Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Barts, and Anguilla.
When you are ready to descend simply board the Sky Explorer for the scenic trip down the mountain. Enjoy exploring the Estate, relax, and experience the special delights of St. Maarten, snacks and drinks at the restaurant.

2.00We were looking forward to this because it seemed like a unique experience in SXM. Overall we were disappointed, though. Gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the views at the top are truly fantastic. Aside from that, it was extremely expensive to ride an old ski lift to the destination at the top. The ski lift stopped and started so often that half of us were sick to our stomachs by the time we reached the top. When we came back down, we decided to go to the restaurant at the bottom because the menu looked good. Unfortunately, when we got there, the server said they were only serving about 3 things on the menu because several of the staff didn’t come to work that day and the cook was working alone. Also, the bathrooms were poorly maintained. Would not choose this activity again.

5.00This tour was one of the highlights of our Caribbean cruise! It was peaceful, informative, and perfect for all ages. The views from the 360 platform were absolutely stunning. We had enough time to enjoy a drink at the cafe before heading back. Would 100% recommend for a fun and easy day in port.

5.00We booked this tour while staying at a resort in St. Maarten but had to cancel last minute because of weather. The staff was understanding and kind, and our refund was processed without any hassle. Excellent communication throughout. Looking forward to booking again on our next visit!

5.00Unfortunately, our tour got canceled due to bad weather. But I have to say, the customer service was outstanding! We were notified in advance and received a full refund quickly. It was handled very professionally, and we’ll definitely try this tour again next time we’re in St. Maarten.

5.00We took this tour during our cruise stop in St. Maarten and it was incredible! The views from the top of Sentry Hill were absolutely breathtaking. Everything was well organized and peaceful, and the ride up the Sky Explorer was super smooth. Highly recommend it if you want something relaxing with unforgettable views.

3.00This tour did not offer to pick up and drop us back to hotel. As mentioned in the description you are required to get to the location on your own but they were supposed to drop back to the hotel. That didn't happen and I end up incurring an additional fee of $30 taxi fare to return to hotel. Plus $30 taxi to get to the rainforest adventure location. I think the description should be clear. Views are breathtaking but we were rushed to leave.
