Come off the beaten path and indulge yourself with a Bushwacker, a must-try while visiting the island and stop at eateries known for serving up "must try" local foods. Savor local favorites like scrumptious rum cake, Calalloo soup, saltfish quiche and island pate. This 2.5-hour tour is led by a local guide, informative and entertaining. This was a great tour. Jane, our tour guide, was amazing. Knowledgeable, kind, welcoming and a true joy to spend time with! If you are interested in the rich history of the island and a small tasting of local food then take this tour!

We had a lovey time with Gerard. This was the perfect way to get to see Charlotte Amalie and find out about its long colourful history whilst sampling the local delicacies. The food was varied served in absolutely delightful establishments and was delicious. Gerard was the perfect host throughout, his local knowledge and enthusiasm for the both past and present made it the perfect way for us to spend our brief time on the island. Thanks Gerard for a wonderful 3 hours and for the memories you gave us .

Gerard is a fabulous ambassador for St Thomas. The interesting historical framework he provided helped us to understand St Thomas as much more than simply a vacation destination. All of our food stops were quaint and the food itself was unique and representative of the island culture of St Thomas. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this really pleasant afternoon.

The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Enjoyed the experience of this comfortable walking tour. Never felt rushed, and the 4 venues were all very distinct and welcoming. Never felt pressured to participate or purchase items.

My wife and I like to go on Food Tours whenever we are traveling. Our goal is learn more about the area’s culture through the food that they eat. Jane fulfilled this perfectly. She provided a comprehensive history of St. Thomas (and the great Virgin Islands) and she brought us to some wonderful local eateries to try the local cuisine. I think this should be a requirement for anyone traveling to St. Thomas.

We missed our booked time due to car trouble and Gerard was flexible enough to schedule us into a later tour. We learned about the island history, culture and food customs along with tasting the cuisine and drinking traditional beverages from local proprietors.

If you think you are just getting a food tour here, you would be wrong. We also got our fill of history and local culture. We visited four different locations for a taste of local dishes. Gerard was most personable, friendly and easy to converse with.
